Holy Week Prayers | April 3-7 | 12-1pm | Sanctuary

Every day during Holy Week the sanctuary will be open for all who would like to pray over the lunch hour. And if you would like to pray with someone, or have someone pray for you, or just talk, one of our pastors will be there.

Given all of the disenchantedness that is out there, given the flood of bad news that’s out there, given our addictions to bad news, we need more and more people who can be the skin and flesh embodiment of resurrection hope.

In order to get these glimpses of resurrection hope, you need the following elements: you need a proper understanding of scripture, you need time around the table, we need to gather, and we need to both volunteer and see volunteers volunteering.

This is our calling. We are now, the people of God, meant to do what we see Jesus doing. And here’s what we see Jesus doing: we see Jesus practicing unreasonable, relentless hospitality.
