YCH.Commishes abandoned my paying clients.
Yesterday I was temporarily given access to my remaining commissions so I could contact my clients. Today that access was revoked, and I was simply told that clients should find a way to contact me themselves.
As a result, people who had already paid for their commissions were left without any reliable way to reach the artist they commissioned.
Because of this, I no longer trust YCH.Commishes or similar commission platforms that act as middlemen between artists and clients. In my opinion, this platform shows no respect for either its artists or its customers.
Those who know me also know that my commissions are not cheap. That's exactly why I would be extremely upset if any client who has already paid for artwork is unable to contact me because of the platform's actions.
From now on, if you want to purchase one of my YCHs, please contact me directly.

If there's enough interest, I'll make a follow-up post explaining exactly how this situation unfolded from the beginning. I'll provide the timeline, screenshots, and other evidence so everyone can review the facts and draw their own conclusions.
I am also attaching screenshots showing the reason I was banned and the report that was filed against me. I want to be honest with my audience about what happened.
Besides what I believe was the administration's irresponsible handling of the situation, what hurts me the most is that the report which resulted in my permanent ban did not come from a random person. If it had, I probably wouldn't even be talking about this now. It came from a client I had been working with since 2023.
I had a much higher opinion of this person until this happened. After looking through the Discord support history, I discovered that this was apparently not the first time they had reported artists. It seems they are a frequent participant in those reports. I regret not knowing this earlier and allowing them to continue working with me.
I am not encouraging anyone to harass or attack this person. I am simply sharing my own experience and how this situation has made me feel.
Yes, it turns out that I did violate the website's rules by posting an auction description that was against the rules. I did so without realizing it because English is not my native language, and I genuinely misunderstood that particular rule.
Even so, I was completely open to discussing the situation with both the administration and the person who filed the report. That was important to me because they had been one of my regular clients, and naturally I wanted to know whether continuing to work with them in the future was even possible.
When I contacted this person and politely asked whether I was correct in thinking they were my client (their Discord username exactly matched their Twitter and YCH.Commishes usernames), they avoided the conversation entirely. Instead, they accused me of harassing them.
I find it deeply disappointing that someone would secretly report me, then refuse to have a simple conversation afterward, while hiding behind the administration and turning a harmless question into an accusation of harassment.
From now on, I will be much more careful about the platforms where I share my work and about the people I choose to work with.
I never mistreated this person in any way. I have always been polite to my clients, I always deliver my commissions on time, and I put my heart into every piece I create.
Thank you for reading.
I would also like to emphasize that, in my opinion, the attitude of "it's up to you to find a way to contact the artist" is an extremely unprofessional approach from the administration. It creates unnecessary work for both the staff and for me.
I have done absolutely nothing that would justify such treatment. I worked on this website for five years, and during that time I completed artwork for a large number of clients.
At this point, the only messages I am receiving in my private inbox are words of support from people I have worked with, both past and present. I believe that says far more about the kind of person I am than this long post ever could.
Yep! ๐ I definitely plan to keep making lots more YCHs, so you'll have plenty of chances to grab one in the future. ๐ซถ
And if there's ever a YCH you especially fall in love with but it doesn't have an auction, feel free to message me on Discord (Vika0027) about it! I'd be happy to chat. ๐
@WazapplePie Awww, thank you so much! ๐ญ๐ That honestly makes me so happy to hear, haha. I'll be looking forward to the day you finally snag one of my YCHs! Wishing your wallet a speedy recovery until then. ๐ซถ๐
Due to the increasing number of people sending me colored versions of my YCHs in DMs (often without asking for my consent first), as well as the growing number of questions like "Can I color the sketch I bought from you?", I feel the need to address this publicly.
The answer is NO.
I do not allow or encourage any edits or alterations to my artwork, regardless of whether you purchased a commission, a YCH, or any other piece from me. This includes coloring lineart or sketches.
Art is my profession, not a hobby. Every piece I create is a finished work as I intended it to be, and I ask that you respect that.
Please do not send me edited, colored, or otherwise modified versions of my work. I also prefer to keep my interactions focused on commissions and professional matters rather than discussions about altering my art.
Thank you for respecting my boundaries and understanding my position.
