@womiv@Morris_Monye@winexviv That's the spirit. Replicate untill every inch of Nigeria is covered and every Nigerian student have equal access to global opportunities based on MERIT.
@winexviv I am deeply deeply grateful for the silver lining you are bringing to Nigeria, pls @Morris_Monye we need this for Delta State like yesterday, its been done, so its just to replicate & customize to our state. Thanks Much.
My parrot 🦜, my big baby. My assertive bobo. This boy gives me so much joy.
I'm so happy for his mum, who flew down to Rome to support him.
Onyedikachi made all of us proud.
Confidence na water. 🌊💦
He said he won for Nigeria.
Meanwhile, YoRonu r@scals were busy hosting Spaces, disparaging a twelve-year-old and trying to tribalise his effort to make his country proud.
Igbo greatness is God-made, and no amount of ọnụma, ịkpọasị, obiụfụ na amansi can change it or bring it down.
Last jamb was a disaster for my village youngsters. Over 70% of them failed jamb and the rest sparely passed. Rather than waiting for the government, we decided to take a different approach. We took the challenge upon ourselves for it not to repeat itself again. Every youngster in my village right now is on an intensive morning and evening drilling for next years Jamb and they undertake CBT once monthly with large pool of 16 years past questions across different subjects. In the CBT we track their performances on different topics and lays more emphasis on their weaknesses across different subject topics. One common thing we noticed is that many of the youngsters are alien to computers and can't even use a mouse nor keyboards. How were they planning to succeed in jamb when they could had probably be using a computer for the first time on Jamb day?
It's an eye opener and our mission is for all of them to score above 250. We will be paying for all their jamb exam fees and are also offering full scholarship to everyone that scores 300 and above.
In the next 10 years, Alex can go to any part of his village without fear for his security, the people he will have conversations with will be very intelligent, the conversations rich and progressive for the village, his village will have a library, will document their history, will see the next stars return to take what Alex did to the next level.
Education is that powerful, And i am grateful for leaders like @PeterObi and hopefully soon @winexviv that have/will drive this train politically.
When I tell people that Nigeria will be great in our lifetime, they don’t take me seriously. Things like this should give you a glimpse of the possibilities.
Quite recently, a group of us have been collaborating to support the next generation of Nigerians, particularly those from the South East.
Myself, Eke of RiseVest, Alex Onyia, Jason Njoku, Ugo Aronu, Maxwell, Nathan of Terra, and many more of us. We are South East focused because that is where we come from. Those are our people; our brothers and sisters.
I daresay the major reason Alex got this traction is because of his focus on SE. This is just the beginning of things to come.
Dear Lord, i imagine a future where we are churning out world class talents, like water, boys and girls who are deep and competent across different domains you can think of. Disgustingly cracked. Able to fill entire stadiums.
The opportunities to build wealth are already waiting for these people, e no dey finish.
All that technology you see in Silicon Valley, we go dey run am for Nsukka, even do our own on top. The world today has 3 tech centers: US, China, Israel. We will join them.
Why I love this mission so much is because everyone of us was already on this journey before we met. I was doing Flow Research before I met Eke and Alex. Eke was already doing Rise Academy. Alex was always going to do ISEE regardless of our coalition.
We figured it will make sense to collaborate because we are all trying to do the same things.
This is work that should have started decades ago. We are doing it today so that decades from now, our society will be better off.
“Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world. ” - Archimedes.
This is why I refuse the fraud and poverty capital tag for Nigerians. Give people a chance and like Archimedes with a lever and fulcrum, they will move the world.
SE Maths Olympiad champions won Gold, Silver and top global honours at the International STEM Olympiad.
