Just a dude who has completely lost all faith in people placing ethics and morality above profitability. Greed is a cancer on humanity... a terminal cancer.
@TheTrueVanguard What makes you think their disappointment in the game ending is engagement farming and not their honest feelings? I get not liking what they say, but to assume it's done primarily for monetary benefit IMO is a leap, and kind of a cheap shot.... & exactly what you accuse them of.
@USRedTalk@rpeterson2317@ManagerTactical If they DON'T punish players for covering their mouths.... those players are free to continue to hurl racist insults without getting caught forever. FIFA decided they don't want that.
@brunnoruizz Tell that to the Paraguay footballer who was just sent off for covering his mouth during a verbal confrontation with an opponent (something FIFA had to institute because it became commonplace for racists to cover their mouths when hurling slurs at opponents).
@akknowsball@DetroitOnLion Doesn't tell me we're unlucky. Tells me it ISN'T random. Turf, practice habits, etc..... somewhere, there's a REAL issue leading to higher injury rates. Campbell, et al MUST: 1) figure it out, 2) fix it without sacrificing our mentality.
@randycharb@DetroitOnLion IDK, but you could prob compare lions injury rates pre-Campbell and Campbell-era to see if it's the turf, or maybe something we're doing as an org currently leading to these higher injury rates.
@komakazy21@DetroitOnLion Idk how you can say it's random when it's that bad year over year every year of the Campbell era. MAYBE.... just MAYBE... instilling all that grit with insanely physical practices takes a toll.
@jaredraabe@Justin_Rogers McVay isn't running the team, and picking the players, Snead is. And while I'm sure McVay has input, Snead makes the calls (evidenced by drafting a QB in the 1st round this year).
@CarlitoFrito@Justin_Rogers Garrett is way way way way WAY better than Verse. After Aaron Donald, Garrett is prob the best all around defensive player of the last 30-40 years in the NFL. Garrett is Donald/Reggie White/Lawrence Taylor tier. Verse is REAL good.... may even become an all-pro. He's not Garrett.
@cory57426535001@GhostRobo@Justin_Rogers Bonus or not, those numbers all are a part of cap. The REAL answer is they have a large number of KEY guys still on rookie deals: like Puka, Byron Young, Kobie Turner, Kam Kitchens, Blake Corum. In 2-3 years they'll be RIGHT where we are right now - 7/8 guys on massive deals.
@Justin_Rogers@Stungun091 Is it really hindsight? Doesn't the structure of the prorated option bonuses for Kerb mean they KNEW there was a problem with the knee that COULD become big trouble? But they decided to roll the dice anyway.
@civil_savage86@Justin_Rogers IDK if you've looked at WR contracts across the league, but Jamo is compensated pretty damn fairly. He was top 10 in yardage, 15th in TDs, 3rd in yds/rec. 17th in AAV. He's well below Tee Higgins in salary, and around other elite number 2 WRs like Waddle/Pickens/Devonta Smith/etc
@KanklesaurusR3x@Aztecross That's because the assholes are the loudest people online. Nothing you see on twitter is an accurate real-world representation of what MOST people think. The vocal majority, esp when talking crazy ish is ALWAYS the real-world minority.
@21pt0TheShank@Jackal21O LMAO - did you look at wemby's face and eyes prior to him throwing that bow? He side-eyed Naz like a MFer. He knew 110% what he was doing. He'd had enough of the chippy BS. And he lost his cool. He's young. Learn and move on.
