Dozens of angry youths from the Oke-Baale axis of Òṣogbo are currently at the premises of @IBEDC_NG to protest the unbearable and epileptic power supply across Òṣogbo and its surrounding communities. The protesters, chanting solidarity songs and wielding placards with inscriptions accused the distribution company of neglecting consumers while continuing to issue estimated and prepaid bills despite prolonged outages.
According to some of the protesters, many households and small businesses in Òṣogbo and adjoining communities have suffered economic losses due to erratic supply, forcing them to rely heavily on generators amid rising fuel costs. They urged the company’s management to provide a clear explanation for the persistent outages and a concrete timeline for improvement.
Security personnel are at the scene to maintain order and prevent escalation, while officials of the electricity company are currently engaging a delegation of the youths. This development adds to the growing public frustration over power distribution challenges in the State, as residents continue to demand accountability and sustainable solutions.

I didn't cry during labor, but I felt like I was half alive. The pain was beyond tears. I even asked my husband to check if my eyes had changed, if I could make it because I wasn't sure I was still alive, he bursted into tears. The nurses praised me for staying composed without crying or screaming, but honestly I wasn’t sure if I was still alive. I can’t but wonder how our mothers manage to have many children. They are indeed great Abiyamo ❤️
