Every morning, I see people posting their workouts with, “Did you move today?” And I'm sitting there thinking, bro, my biggest movement is between home and office.. the rest of the day, I'm practically furniture.. 🤦🏻‍♀️

But today was NOT that day!

Today I participated in the UBS annual run for the third year in a row and earned my third medal 🥳

Did we run? No. We walked.
But hey, 5k is 5k, so I'm counting it, okay?! 😅

Also, absolutely loveee this year's medal - it feels sooo... UBS! ❤️

Huge thanks to the management and organising committee for putting together such a well-planned event!

Sharing a few glimpses from the day - proof that I can move beyond my office chair! 🫠

Have you heard of the "Spilled Coffee Theory"?

Imagine you're walking with your coffee, you accidentally hit the corner of a table, and spill it everywhere.

On a normal day, you'd probably clean it up and move on..

but imagine you've had a terrible night's sleep, you're juggling deadlines at work, you've been dealing with one problem after another, and you haven't had a moment to yourself all day..

& now, when you hit the table, that spilled coffee might be enough for you to lose your mind!

That's the Spilled Coffee Theory!!

Sometimes, it's not the small incident that's overwhelming.. it's everything you've been holding together before it happened..

@Tarun_TRK right, so go read! 😅

[Priyanka Sharma @okiPriyanka]

Here are 2 simple tips to improve your English language (from a seasoned Toastmaster 😉):

1. Read aloud for atleast 15 minutes every day- it improves your grammar, and makes you familiar with correct sentence formations - pick any book you like or get an English newspaper.

2. Speak on any topic in English for 60 seconds every day - again, pick any topic you like and talk WITHOUT a script - you can do this in front of your close friends/family, or the mirror - this will help correct pronunciations.

In short, Reading builds your language, while Speaking builds your fluency & confidence!

As my English is not upto the mark

I make lot of grammar mistakes as every Indian

So i don't want to make mistakes and want to learn fluent English

How to improve? Is there any app, website or book that can help to improve my English??

@Tarun_TRK the proof of the pudding is in the eating 😝
