This original “I Dedicate Myself” sign dates back to the early 1960’s and was mounted by head coach Doug Schmidt at Harmon Field above the locker room door. Thousands of Miamisburg Football players hit this sign before laying it all on the line for our city. When Harmon became the pee wee field, a huge part of our program’s history was left behind and forgotten. We saved the original and will be casing it up to protect it forever and put it on display…while creating this replica to mount in our locker room for our players to hit before games. Huge thank you to Josh Bryant for the love and craftsmanship he put in to this. What makes it even more special is also unfortunate at the same time. Coach Doug Schmidt passed away on July 1st, 2025 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. He made a donation to our program in his name that we just received and very thankful for. His legacy lives on.

We are getting some fresh new lids to go along with three new sets of Nike uniforms. Here’s a couple mocks with subtle differences. I personally like the royal facemask and tri color stripe with the black outline just like the Buckeyes. The color paint is also called Ohio State’s extreme silver🔥

Feeling extremely honored and blessed to become the 27th head coach in Miamisburg football history. Our proud program has fielded a team since the 1800’s and I’m truly humbled to be handed the reins. I will do my absolute best to represent all the incredible coaches and players who have come before me along with this city that I love very much. I grew up here and this program helped raise me. Being afforded the opportunity and responsibility of helping develop our young men is not something I take lightly. Although it’s always been there and never left; I promise to bring back even more of the blue collar toughness and physicality the Burg has always been known for. Win lose or draw, we’ll also make our community proud by how we compete with class. I have to give big thanks and gratitude to Dr. Blessing, Jason Osborne, Jason Shade, along with the Board of Education for making this happen and bringing me back where I belong.
