Newly released jailhouse calls are shedding light on conversations made by convicted businessman Brent Swadley while behind bars, and legal experts say some of what was said could be used against him in court.
More than 80 phone calls, totaling roughly eight hours of conversations, were obtained from the Oklahoma County Detention Center. Transcripts of several of those calls were flagged by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office as part of ongoing court proceedings.
Swadley, who is currently being held at the Oklahoma County Jail, can be heard in multiple recordings describing his adjustment to life behind bars.
