Зранку в Києві російський дрон ��дарив по житловій багатоповерхівці. Постраждали чотири людини. Як завжди, оперативно спрацювали наші рятувальники: станом на зараз пожежу ліквідовано. Вночі на Одещині було влучан��я по міжнародному пункту пропуску «Старокозаче» на кордоні з Молдовою. Його роботу призупинено. На жаль, двоє людей загинули, ще троє зазнали травм, шістнадцятьох рятувальники евакуювали. Мої співчуття рідним та близьким загиблих. Також триває ліквідація наслідків російської атаки у регіонах: Дніпро, Миколаїв, Запоріжжя, Харківщина, Житомирщина, Київська область.

На жаль, замало реагування міжнародної спільноти на ці удари, які фактично щодня забирають життя людей. Але реакція потрібна: Москва не повинна увійти в зиму з розумінням, що ракетний і дроновий терор зійде їй з рук просто так. Агресію потрібно зупиняти тут і зараз, щоб вона не поширювалася далі. І важливо, щоб санкції та підтримка України працювали ефективно саме на це. Партнери, які можуть допомогти, знають, що саме потрібно кожного дня. І я дякую кожному, хто допомагає в міру власних можливостей.

This morning in Kyiv, a Russian drone struck an apartment building. Four people were injured. As always, our rescuers responded swiftly, and the fire has now been extinguished. Last night in the Odesa region, the international Starokozache border crossing with Moldova was hit. Operations there have been suspended. Tragically, two people were killed and three others were injured. Sixteen people were evacuated by rescuers. My condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. Efforts are also underway to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack in the Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, and Kyiv regions.

Unfortunately, there has been too little response from the international community to these strikes, which are taking people’s lives practically every day. But a response is needed – Moscow must not go into the winter believing that it can get away with missile and drone terror without consequences. The aggression must be stopped here and now, before it spreads any further. And it is important that sanctions and support for Ukraine work effectively toward this goal. The partners who can help know exactly what is needed every day. And I thank everyone who is helping to the best of their ability.

We are responding to Russia’s daily terrorist strikes – effectively and practically across its entire map. Over the past 24 hours, there have been results in Novorossiysk, in the Krasnodar region. A naval base was hit, including a terminal used to load oil, military port facilities, and warships carrying Kalibr missiles. I thank the warriors of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Ukrainian Navy, Defense Intelligence, and the State Border Guard Service for their precision. I thank everyone developing our long-range sanctions capabilities, so that Russia’s war is increasingly felt where it came from.

Разом із Прем’єр-міністром Норвегії Йонасом Гаром Стере зустрілися з керівниками оборонних компаній країн-партнерів. Головна тема – антибалістична програма FREYJA, яка здатна забезпечити Європі інтегрований захист від повітряних загроз завдяки спільним зусиллям України, Данії, Франції, Німеччини, Італії, Нідерландів, Норвегії, Іспанії, Швеції та Великої Британії.

Спільно з керівництвом FirePoint, Kongsberg, Weibel, Saab, Diehl Defence, Hensoldt, Thales, Safran, Sener та Leonardo узгодили, що конкретно мають зробити лідери й урядовці на своєму рівні, а виробники та розроб��ики – на своєму. Розраховуємо на перші практичні результати.

Norwegian Prime Minister @jonasgahrstore and I met with executives from defense companies of partner countries. The main topic was the FREYJA anti-ballistic program, which can provide Europe with integrated protection against air threats through the joint efforts of Ukraine, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

Together with the leadership of FirePoint, Kongsberg, Weibel, Saab, Diehl Defence, Hensoldt, Thales, Safran, Sener, and Leonardo, we agreed on the specific steps leaders and government officials need to take at their level, and manufacturers and developers at theirs. We expect to see the first practical results.

I am grateful to Norway for hosting this meeting. I thank our partners for their readiness to work together. Protecting Europe’s skies is our shared responsibility.

Ukraine will always be grateful to Norway for all its assistance. This support comes not only from the government, but also from the Royal Family and all the people of Norway.

I recall with gratitude our warm meeting with His Majesty and the special attention he paid to Ukraine. He was a monarch who, for over 35 years, embodied Norway – its openness, dignity, and respect for people. Over that time, our bond with Norway has grown especially strong.

We are grateful that Norway has stood with Ukraine all these years. Thank you for the decisions that are helping us protect people and stand firm today.

Обговорили підготовку України до зимового періоду, захист нашої енергетики й посилення протиповітряної оборони. Розраховуємо на подальшу співпрацю та внески Ісландії до Фонду енергетичної підтримки. Надана раніше допомога вже дає конкретні результати, і ми вдячні за це.

Також говорили про співробітництво в технологічній та оборонній сферах, де Україна готова ділитися своїм досвідом із партнерами. Дякую Ісландії за підтримку.

On my way to Canada, I met with Iceland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, @thorgkatrin.

We discussed Ukraine’s preparations for the winter, the protection of our energy sector, and strengthening our air defense. We count on continued cooperation and Iceland’s contributions to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. The assistance provided earlier is already yielding concrete results, and we are grateful for that.

We also discussed cooperation in the technology and defense sectors, where Ukraine is ready to share its experience with partners. I am grateful to Iceland for its support.

Канада ��ула і залишається одним із наших найближчих партнерів. Ми цінуємо всю підтримку Канадського народу та рішення, які допомагають Україні вистояти й захищати наших людей.

Головна увага – підтримці України у захисті неба та підготовці до зими. Будемо говорити про те, як посилити нашу стійкість, підтримати людей і забезпечити Україні необхідні можливості для захисту.

У першої леді у плані зустріч із меценатами, які допомагають Україні. Також візит до аналогів українських Шкіл Супергероїв у Канаді.

Over the past 24 hours, our warriors struck eight Russian infrastructure facilities supporting the war. An oil refinery in the Yamalo-Nenets region and a seaport in Dagestan were hit. Sites in the Moscow, Voronezh, Astrakhan, and Bryansk regions were also struck. Russia continues its daily terror against Ukraine. And every day, it receives a just response. I thank every warrior and everyone who enables our long-range capabilities and precision.

Today in our city of Pavlohrad, the Russians killed people with drones who were simply near shopping malls. As of now, four people have been reported killed… My condolences to their families and loved ones. More than 60 people were wounded in this strike alone. Everyone is receiving the necessary assistance. Dozens of people were also wounded in Kramatorsk by Russian bombs that struck residential buildings. Other cities and communities in the Dnipro and Donetsk regions, as well as the Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions, also came under attack. In the evening, Dnipro and Kyiv were also targeted.

We are working as intensively as possible with our partners so that we can protect Ukrainians from this Russian terror. Today, there will be decisions on additional support packages for Ukraine, including defense assistance and support specifically for protecting our skies. We are also preparing additional support packages. The world sees what Russia is doing. And Ukraine will have support. One hundred percent of our attention is focused on this now – concrete strengthening of our defense, concrete funding for defense, and concrete opportunities for weapons manufacturers to protect lives. The first Drone Deal with a country in the Americas will be with Canada. In Alberta, together with Prime Minister @MarkJCarney, we looked at the drones that will be among the first to be used under this agreement. Canada is ready to place large orders, and 30% of the production will be transferred to Ukraine.

Of course, right now we need to find and scale up solutions to protect Ukraine from jet-powered “shaheds.” We are working on this and will share our developments and solutions with our partners.

Російська ескалація реактивними «шахедами» поступово стає все більш терористичною. Протягом дня росіяни бʼють цілеспрямовано по заправках у Києві. Тільки за сьогодні і тільки від цих ударів загинуло дві людини. Мої співчуття рідним і близьким загиблих. Ще девʼять людей постраждало. Серед них рятувальник, який був поранений через повторний удар. Вдарили також по будівлі компанії «Київстар». І від ночі тривають ці атаки. Були удари по Київщині, Кіровоградщині, Дніпровщині, Одещині, Донеччині, Херсонщині, Харківщині, Миколаївщині.

Не можна просто чекати, поки Росія відточує свій репертуар вбивств. Зараз потрібно максимально уваги прикриттю неба і пошуку рішень для захисту людей, масштабуванню протидії російським дронам. Дякую кожному, хто допомагає посилювати українську авіацію та системи ППО необхідними ракетами. Все це рятує життя щодня.

Russia’s escalation with jet-powered “shaheds” is gradually becoming increasingly terrorist in nature. Throughout the day, the Russians have been deliberately targeting gas stations in Kyiv. Today alone, and from these strikes alone, two people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Nine others have been injured. Among them is a first responder who was wounded in a double-tap strike. They also struck a Kyivstar company building. And these attacks have been ongoing since last night. There were strikes in the Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Odesa, Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv regions.

We cannot simply wait while Russia hones its repertoire of killing. Right now, maximum attention must be focused on protecting the skies, finding solutions to protect people, and scaling up countermeasures against Russian drones. I thank everyone who is helping provide Ukraine’s aircraft and air defense systems with the necessary missiles. All of this saves lives every day.

Сьогодні важливий день – день сильних людей – і в той самий час достатньо трагічний. Двадцять п’ять років тому 11 вересня було за��дано удару по людях. Страшний удар, трагедія у Сполучених Штатах Америки. Загинуло близько 3 тисяч людей із 90 країн світу, у тому числі українці. Шана всім героям, котрі тоді робили все, щоб зберегти життя іншим. Поліцейські та пожежники й просто небайдужі люди, серед них і ті, хто мав українське походження. Висловлюємо шану, повагу, співчуття.

Тоді НАТО показало свою силу. І це дуже важливо, що була відповідь на тероризм, застосована стаття 5. Це говорить про те, що на будь-якого ворога й терориста, якщо люди хочуть зберегти свою цивілізацію, свій вибір по захисту прав, свобод, цінностей, повинна бути відповідь. Бо зло повинне бути покаране.

Today is an important day – a day of strong people, and at the same time, a deeply tragic one. Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, people were attacked. A terrible attack, a tragedy in the United States. Nearly 3,000 people from 90 countries around the world were killed, including Ukrainians. We honor all the heroes who did everything they could that day to save the lives of others – police officers and firefighters, and simply caring people, including those of Ukrainian descent. We express our respect, admiration, and condolences.

At that time, NATO showed its strength. And it is very important that there was a response to terrorism and that Article 5 was invoked. This shows that if people want to preserve their civilization and their choice to defend their rights, freedoms, and values, there must be a response to any enemy or terrorist. Because evil must be punished.

Sanctions need to be imposed now. Sanctions must be strong. This is a tool the United States has to deprive Russia of its ability to finance the war against Ukraine every day. And honestly, sometimes I don’t understand why decisions can’t be made quickly. Because during a war, it is sometimes better to make a not-so-perfect decision than to do nothing. Decisions on sanctions, economic and energy restrictions against the Russian Federation, and curbs on the production of ballistic missiles and related weapons have to be made right away.

What are we waiting for? Why do we all talk about sanctions only when commenting on whether the U.S. Congress will support Lindsey Graham’s sanctions bill or not? Of course, the bill needs to be passed, with all due respect, first and foremost to Lindsey. He has devoted his life to defending American, European, and Ukrainian values. And this is a very important historical moment for the United States. The bill must be passed, voted on, and supported. Beyond that, strong decisions from the U.S. Administration are important. Personal decisions by President Trump. I very much hope we will see that.

The prolongation of the war is now a challenge not only for Ukraine, but also for Russia’s economy and for the entire world. Take the example of the Black Sea blockade. Today, we have a blocked food corridor. It is almost blocked for the Ukrainian side and blocked for the Russian side. And this is a challenge for everyone. I have spoken with Egypt, India, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and the Emirates.

Ukrainians will not be left without food. Grain prices will fall because exports will be expensive, the infrastructure needed to sell it will be difficult to operate, and logistics will be a nightmare. This will be very difficult for us. But apart from Ukraine, other countries will be in a much worse situation because they simply won’t have food. Many nations will have nothing to eat, even if they have the money to buy it. That is the truth. This will be like Hormuz, only agricultural. And that is a serious problem. It shouldn’t be up to Ukraine alone to solve this. Because it is a challenge for many.

Agriculture and energy are the two challenges the entire world is facing today. And if peace is impossible today because one person does not want it, we can resolve the issue of an energy ceasefire and food security. These are decisions that can be made. We’ve been raising these issues for a long time, but they are especially relevant now.
