@georgediano @mallan_carol If a journalist is sued for publishing a defamatory story, the actual person being sued is the MEDIA HOUSE not the writer. That journalist wrote whatever he wrote on behalf of his employer (the media company) and so its that company that pays the fine.

@MBernard_K @C_NyaKundiH You're right, Kenya doesn't buy Iranian oil or use the Strait of Hormuz. But oil is priced globally. Middle East tensions spike global crude prices, insurance, and shipping costs through the Red Sea—and that cost is passed down to us.
