Every nation has its peculiarities, and so must its answers. Africa issues require Africa research and ingenuity. Western fixes for African challenges are often a miss. Only focus on homegrown solutions can foster lasting impact. #ThinkLocal#AfricaSolutions
@the_beardedsina More annoying when the person speaks yoruba. There was a scene in Seal Team where the terrorist were speaking yoruba. I was just angry at the kind of language they were speaking.
@el_bonga That man is actually a builder. When he was still under ministry of health, a lot was bubbling. Immediately he left, the effect was glaring, even till now.
Had a patient sometimes in July, came in from the UK for a programme i think. After consultation, treatment plan given, he was asked to make payment so his treatment can commence. And he was like is it possible for him to start immediately, cos he wasn't going to stay long in Nigeria.
He couldn't believe his ears, that such immediate accessibility exist.
We really don't appreciate it enough in Nigeria.
@Midatlblog I hope this is a simulated design they already discarded? Because this is close to shopping complex than it is to a health centre by design. It's not about aesthetics o
@egi_nupe "Delayed gratification," as powerful and sweet it is to preach, most startups tend to lean on it overly, to overutilise and underremunerate their staffs. Most.
Funny enough, i was watching a podcast today, of a doctor who was talking about the health benefits of walking. Perhaps the message was for you๐คทโโ๏ธ
He even went ahead to say by merely walking enough everyday, you can reduce the chance of almost all medical systemic problems by half.
@dimarokoji_ I wonder why y'all always forget BDS๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Anyways, what's MSC doing there? Why would you be comparing undergraduate titles with a postgraduate title and still ask which is the highest?
PS: undergraduate titles are undergraduate titles. No need for chasing supremacy.
To add, theres need for a caveat on this. While it is simple to just say "don't rinse your mouth after brushing" as drawn from the understanding of the chemistry of the toothpaste and the teeth, you need to understand that it's not a law.
Alot of people find it discomforting to keep that foam in their mouth without rinsing. Don't forget also, that you just brushed dirt from your mouth, food debris and all that...
So, it's cool if you could keep keep it, but you're not particularly committing an offense rinsing off.
For actual reinforcement of the enamel, there's a procedure called fluoride therapy, usually in-office (done at the clinic), and though it's usually done for children, adults too can have it done.
By standard recommendation, brushing is even meant to proceed eating, not preceed it.
And yes, it is not advisable to rush to brush immediately after eating. The saliva should be allowed to provide some chemical buffering, as acidic contents of food eaten could contribute to erosion of the enamel.
@Dr_Pharouk I honestly do believe he is exaggerating whatever he did, or he doesn't know what was done on him.
I don't think any dentist will just have a patient on his chair and yank off FIFTEEN!!! teeth. Not just any teeth, but healthy teeth.
It's really funny.
@instablog9ja Just imagine what's is being flexed on.
Except he's exaggerating sha. Cos i don't think any medical officer will lay you on a chair and yank off 15 of your healthy teeth for the sake of some replacement.
I doubt he knows what he's saying.
