It costs me time but no money is involved from my end. I don’t set the price, shipping, etc. That all comes from Canva.

Some previews of the print fanzine! I actually ordered a copy of this before the name change so this is my draft print.

The print quality was much better than I expected BUT I definitely need to adjust the margins because some of the artwork got cut off at the edges. Overall a decent first draft but back to the design studio I go 🤭🎀

Hi all! In the spirit of transparency, I wanted to provide an update to the name change of this publication.

The name has been changed to “Ola Fanzine” in order to accurately reflect the root of this publication: an independent, fan-made publication that is driven by enthusiasm and support rather than mass production and profit.

No harm in casually referring to it as a magazine in passing as fans, but as someone that works with contracts and legal interpretations for a living, I want to be sure all bases are covered and liabilities are eliminated from our end.

Updates for today: the website is being built and I should have a release date of the digital magazine by this weekend!

As for the printed magazine, I’ve ordered a copy for myself from Canva to see what the printing quality looks like. If all is well, I will drop the release date for everyone that wants to order one! 🎀💕
