Artificial Wombs don't really solve the feminism/TFR problem.

Sure, you can probably make a fake womb and create a baby human from it.

Who is going to take care of that baby human? Who's going to organize its birthday parties and wrap its Christmas presents?

Possible answers:

- 1. A woman will do those things. In that case, you have basically the same problem. The pregnancy part isn't that hard in comparison to raising the kids.

- 2. You build a robot to do that. Now you have two choices:

-- 2a. The robot is very mechanical in its thinking and behaviour. It has no persistent personality. Those kids are probably going to be freaks in that case; in some sense you are committing torture against the kids.

-- 2b. The robot has real feelings and real persistent personality. Well, that robot is a woman, but made out of silicon and steel. People will demand that she has rights, there will be a DEI program for the robots, they will stop wanting to raise children because it's a low-status thing, etc. And you have just reinvented the same problem again.

You can't escape from the "misaligned foid" problem. you either make an aligned foid, or you can't create (psychologically normal, healthy, happy) children. And the only way to solve the foid alignment problem is to crush feminism and make motherhood the high status option for women.
