An AI agent can prove what it is without proving who stands behind it.

That distinction is becoming really important.

Google’s Agent Identity is a meaningful step forward: agents can have cryptographic identities, access policies, and clearer records of their activity within Google Cloud.

But once an agent crosses into another organization’s environment, runtime identity isn’t enough.

A counterparty needs to know: who is accountable for this agent?

That’s where @Concordium gets interesting to me.

Its Agent Registry connects agents to identity-backed accounts, giving organizations a portable basis for accountability beyond their own cloud perimeter.

So the stack starts to look more complete:

Runtime identity → Authorization → Real-world accountability

For agents that will transact and collaborate across organizations, that last piece could be the one that matters most.
