very sweet idea on paper but to execute hard.
wish I knew this before embarking on this.
my energy could have just been directed more to what I already know best.
graphics, motion & content strategy.
really wanted to work with numbers though.
i give up.
back to the start.
Competition on LinkedIn is “relatively” low compared to other social platforms.
I’ve got close to 2k connections and get invites every week & I’m barely active.
Imagine the reach if I actually showed up consistently.
It’s one of the easiest places to build a personal brand.
Numbers don’t lie.
As a designer you need to have access to them and understand them to do your job effectively.
Otherwise, the people that have access to them will be the ones calling the shots.
A simple folder structure keeps things clean & saves time later.
How I love to set mine up:
📁 Work – where I keep all the raw files (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
📁 Resources – files that help with the project (JPGs, PNGs, mockups, etc.)
📁 Export – final versions of the work
Finally decided to start building my portfolio publicly.
I have been stuck with just planning for months, kept waiting for the “perfect time.”
But that never came.
So this is me finally starting.
Episode 1 is out now on YouTube.

@OlaniranEmmanu9 Hi, please how do you connect your laptop to the power bank?
Asking cause there is no place to plug the power cable, I’m only seeing USB port on it.
Ever felt like once you start something, everything just falls into place?
Lately, I've discovered that just getting going can make a huge difference in how much I get done.
This is for better and more productive days ahead.
