I’m Sekinat, a Nigerian mother, and this is my first post here.

I’m creating this account to share the story and journey of my little daughter,

Amatullah, who is just two months old and is currently battling a serious congenital heart condition.

The other day, I was walking on my street, two young boys of about 7years where walking in my front and their conversation caught my attention.

Parents need to be intentional about their kids. Teach them what they need to know about their society before the street teaches them the wrong thing and make it look good.

This morning on my way to work( I pass through Oshodi). You know Oshodi is very crowded so you have to slow down small. A lady behind me started to shout ‘wo kúrò lónà fún mi(excuse me). I didn’t look back and I didn’t leave her way because there was no space and her tone was
