I don't do Politics of emotions, I do Politics of precision, as a Northerner I can't replace the President who is completing AKK Gas Pipeline Project and Kano Rail project with Presidential candidates whose record is building brewery and selling Government companies at peanut price to Friends in the name of privatization.

CELEBRATING A LEADER AND A TRUE DEMOCRAT AT 74
It is with profound humility and immense joy that I join millions of Nigerians and other well-wishers across the globe in celebrating an extraordinary statesman, a democratic icon, and a compassionate leader, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the auspicious occasion of his 74th birthday.
Mr. President, your purposeful service and transformative leadership continue to inspire renewed hope and strengthen confidence in governance nationwide. Your people-centred policies and bold strategic reforms have set Nigeria firmly on the path of accelerated growth, stability, and sustainable development.
Through your visionary Renewed Hope Agenda, you have fostered unity and demonstrated unwavering commitment to national service. Your administration has initiated far-reaching reforms that are laying a solid foundation for progress in education, healthcare, economic management, infrastructure, and institutional governance.
On behalf of my family, the government, and the peace-loving people of Plateau State, I extend heartfelt congratulations on this remarkable milestone. As a servant-leader, your wisdom, depth of experience, and patriotic counsel remain invaluable in advancing the peace, unity, and progress of our great nation, Nigeria.
We pray that Almighty God grants you continued strength, good health, peace of mind, and many more years of impactful service, joy, and fulfilment.
Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang,
Executive Governor, Plateau State
On behalf of my wife, Ibijoke, my family, the government and people of Lagos State, and members of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos, today, I congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his 74th birthday.
President Tinubu is a tested and trusted democrat who has devoted much of his life to public service, with a strong commitment to Lagos and Nigeria. His record reflects a deep belief in democracy, good governance, and national progress.
As President, he has shown courage in taking difficult decisions and remains focused on improving lives across the country. His leadership continues to shape our direction at this important time.
In Lagos, we continue to see the impact of his time in office, which laid the foundation for the progress we are building today.
I pray that God grants him strength, wisdom, and good health as he continues to serve and guide our nation toward greater political and economic progress.
Dear Vikky,
Thank you for your feedback. Mallam Nasir el-Rufa'i, in my opinion, could have done much better as a governor, but there is a time and place for everything, and a mourning period is not that occasion and location.
I am not here to defend Nasir; however, are you aware that in the countries you usually celebrate, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and countries in the European Union, healthcare is either privatised or run by a private-led sector trust?
All that the government does is regulate the sector.
Without citizens paying tax, and mind you, Nigerians hardly pay tax (we have one of the world's lowest tax-to-GDP ratios), expecting the Federal, State, and Local governments to build functional hospitals for you is a pipe dream.
In the aforementioned countries, in addition to heavy taxes, their citizens pay for health insurance. Nigeria introduced that, under President Obasanjo, Nigerians did not pay into the NSITF, yet they want the best healthcare. How is that going to happen?
From oil money? Nigeria is oil-poor! We have a population of 236 million and annual oil and gas revenues of $36 billion. That gives us $156 per citizen. And we must build roads, pay civil servants, maintain an army, service debts, and run schools, etc., from that.
Vikky, apart from these heavy insults, have you ever applied critical thinking to Nigeria's challenges?
236 million people, of whom far less than 10% pay tax, and all of these citizens feel entitled to the same quality of life as Qatar, a country with just 3.5 million people and earning two and a half times what we make from oil and gas.
If Nigerians can do less insulting and more thinking and consulting, we will find that our attitude as Nigerians has a lot to do with the state of our country.
In the meantime, the man is grieving. We are humans, not animals. Please, let him mourn in peace!
Thanks, and may God bless you.

My dear fellow Nigerians,
Today, as I clock another year in the journey of life, I'm filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity given me to serve this great nation. I want to take this moment to thank Nigerians for their messages, show of love and prayers on the occasion of my 74th birthday. I thank all our citizens for their patriotism, solidarity and support for our administration.
To those who have taken space in newspapers or paid for air time on radio and television to wish me well, I thank you immensely.
I must thank my wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, for her kind and loving words. I also thank Vice President Kashim Shettima for all he said about me.
Consistent with my tradition over the years to mark my birthday in line with the mood of the nation each year, I resolved to also observe this year's birthday low key.
As I mark this special day, I am reminded of the challenges we've faced since we initiated our reforms. I'm glad that our sacrifices have not been in vain as we can see some glittering light at the end of the tunnel, despite the temporary setback caused by ongoing Middle East crisis.
The credit for the positive outcomes we have achieved does not belong solely to me, our Renewed Hope team and to our government. We achieved the gains together.
As we march towards the third anniversary of our administration, it is my deepest conviction that we shall succeed in building a brighter future for our citizens and future generations.
We are determined to confront some of the challenges we face today, and with your continued support, we shall overcome.
Let us continue to work together to build a stronger, prosperous and more resilient nation that will make Nigeria the pride of Africa.
Thank you all, and happy 74th birthday to me!
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
