may Allah never let us be among those who were warned again and again but still chose heedlessness because the dunya felt too fun, too busy, too tempting to leave for His sake.

This marks the end of the temporary worldly life (dunya).

2. Barzakh (The Intermediate Realm)
This is the period between death and the Day of Resurrection a barrier or waiting state.
• The soul enters an intermediate existence while the body remains in the grave (or wherever it is).
• Two angels, Munkar and Nakir, question the person:
• “Who is your Lord?”
• “What is your religion?”
• “Who is your Prophet?”

Allah is Ash-Shakur, the Most Appreciative. Never think that your small efforts are meaningless. A quiet dua, a kind word, a prayer you made while tired — Allah knows them all. Keep doing good, even when no one notices. Be grateful for what you have, and trust that nothing sincere you do for Allah is ever wasted.

Yaā Allah, I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, and I seek Your ability by Your power, and I ask You from Your great bounty. You are able and I am not; You know and I do not; and You are the Knower of the unseen.

Yaā Allah, forgive our departed ones, shower them with Your mercy, grant them Jannatul Firdaus, and raise them among the righteous and beloved servants of Yours. Ya Rabbal-‘Alamin.

Yaā Allah, protect us, the living; have mercy upon us, grant us sound health and well-being, guidance and abundant blessings. Bless our lives and our sustenance, and grant us a beautiful ending with Īmān. O Lord of all the worlds. Āmīn.

اللهم يا وليَّ الإسلام وأهله، ثبتنا على الإسلام حتى نلقاك به.

O Allah! O Protector of Islam and its followers! Give us steadfastness in Islam until we meet You with it.

Tawbah is not about having a perfect past. It is about turning back to Allah with a sincere heart. Leave the sin, regret what happened, ask Allah for forgiveness, and try to become better. Don’t let shame keep you away from Him. The moment you sincerely return, you have taken a step toward something better. Keep asking for forgiveness, keep correcting yourself, and never think that your mistakes are greater than Allah’s mercy.

Sometimes you keep asking Allah for the same thing until your heart becomes tired of waiting. But remember: Allah is not ignoring you. He is writing your story with a wisdom you cannot see yet. What feels like a delay may be protection, preparation, or simply the perfect timing that only He knows. Keep making du’a, even when you feel exhausted. Keep trusting, even when nothing seems to change. One day, you may look back and thank Allah for every moment He made you wait.

You can look religious in front of people and still have a heart untouched by religion.

Surah Al-Maʿun warns us that prayer, charity, and outward worship mean little when they are poisoned by showing off, carelessness, and a heart that ignores those in need.
