Post graduation depression is a real thing that many people experience. Especially in a place like Nigeria. Here are a few things you should consider as a young Nigerian trying to not fall for this trap!
Whenever God speaks, God has His prerogative of intent. You don't get to redefine His intention or speak on His behalf. God's revelation doesn't give us permission to manufacture God's meaning.
If your understanding of God is limited, your expectations of what God can do may also be limited. If you don't know God's promises, character, principles or ways of working, your faith may lack a solid foundation. Romans 10:17
God reveals Himself to the heart that genuinely seeks Him. Sometimes, what we call a lack of revelation is simply a lack of pursuit. “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)
God does not hide truth from a heart that genuinely seeks Him. When we are willing to listen, ask, learn and obey, He gives us understanding beyond what we could discover on our own. Call on Him, He'll show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3
Before you seek to become someone worth following online, become someone worth following in real life. Build a life of substance, character and exceptional value.
Humanity in our hearts, that’s what we should all be about. And this is exactly what I heard in @JDMahama’s address at the(UNGA81). At the heart of leadership, there should always be humanity and may we never become so powerful that we forget to be human.
