Your brain learns from what you repeatedly feed it.
If you spend hours consuming short, emotionally charged snippets of information, do not be surprised if sustained attention starts feeling unusually difficult.
You do not have to abandon social media or live like a monk in a library. Just become more deliberate about your information diet.
Read something longer. Follow subjects that genuinely interest you. Occasionally sit with an idea without immediately looking for someone’s opinion about it.
Ask yourself:
Do I want to know this, or was I simply shown it?
That question alone can save you from consuming an impressive amount of nonsense.
Lest I forget!!

Watched an amazing video of a spirit rousing prayer, so of course I transcribed it.
===============
Father, I come to you honestly. I didn’t see this coming. I didn’t plan for this. I didn’t prepare for this. I did not predict this.
I’m surprised and I’m confused and I will not pretend that I’m not. I refuse to dress this wound as though it were not serious, so today I bring you the real version of me, not the rehearsed one.
I bring to you a version of me that needs to let some things go. But I realize I need you to help pry them out of my hands.
I let go of the timeline I built. I let go of the version of my story I was attached to. I let go of the panic that’s been trying to make decisions for me. I let go of the resentment I had toward you, because you led my life in a way that is different than I prefer.
I release my anger and my disappointment, because I refuse to allow my disappointment to disciple me into dysfunction.
So I say, your will, nothing more, nothing less.
Help me to adjust my direction without adjusting my devotion. Help me to update my plans without abandoning my purpose. Help me to see even my affliction as education.
So Father I declare today I’m still in your hands, I’m still on your timeline. I’m still inside of your purpose, and what surprised me did not surprise you, what shook me, will not shake you, what I could not see you already saw.
I will not be amazed by my lack of faith, I will be amazed by your faithfulness. I receive grace for the pivot, I receive peace for the process, and I receive your plans for my next step.
My life is not my own, to you I belong, I give myself away.
AMEN!

RT for others
One of the most transformational things that ever happened to me was asking deeper questions about the people I admired.
I stopped trying to just be like them. I had a deeper question that made all the difference.
‘What does their day-to-day look like?’
Can I manage that?
So, I went down the rabbit hole to find out, and oh boy, did I find something? Yes, I did.
Every single one of them has a mental schedule.
Mental! Mental! Mental!
It was scary.
I genuinely thought they were superhumans. I still think they are.
It was just the reality of their lives, and for them to continue making such an impact, they have to care about all their time, apply it strategically to what matters, and get scheduled up; otherwise, they’ll lose it.
And for me, who not only has a demanding job, but I am also building an online brand and a thriving career coaching business, I need to get serious.
So, I started picking up the habits.
📌 I will have a plan for every hour of my day
📌 I will not respond to what doesn't matter
📌 I will block out specific times for rest (else I won’t take it)
📌 I will completely avoid conversations that waste my time and have no meaningful value.
📌 I will work only on strategic things that give me outsized returns.
📌 I will build every single day.
All of those changed my life in a way even I cannot fathom.
So, don't admire from afar. If you truly want it, get in the game.
Go and be fantastic today.
This is how to waste your career, one comfortable year at a time.
Came across the article in 2022. I was at my last Nigerian company then. I knew I wasn’t doing high-impact things anymore…but I didn’t particularly have someone to teach me on board either anymore.
So I knew it was time, because I had started wasting my career.
Please read it. It’s helped my life so far—and I hope it does the same for you.

What’s your biggest fear right now.
See if you can explain it to yourself in very simple English.
Once you are done, think about a plan of action that if taken, will make you less fearful.
Thinking through it like this alone crashes the fear significantly.
Taking the action planned completely beats the fear you feel.
The more you learn, the more apparent it is to you that you are an olodo. It is a spectrum and if you do not consistently feel like this, there is a high chance that you are an olodo that’s dressed up like an expert. Top ranking olodos for me are those who think other people are not entitled to their beliefs.
