@GergelyOrosz Note the difference of toggling *tracking* versus toggling *usage*. Many are led to believe that saying no to targeted ads means activity isn't tracked. On many platforms, that's not the case. Tracked data is just not used as an input to the ads personalization engine.
@GergelyOrosz @domjnorton While "shields down" moments do exist, I imagine they often are catalysts not primary causes. Employees who are growing, well-compensated, and have reasonable WLB are unlikely to let a £60 process slip cause them to reconsider where they work.
@scarletinked Predictable and efficient are both very important. But what really erodes trust and hurts your credibility among stakeholders is if you don't know how you are progressing against goal - or they think you don't know.
@scarletinked Agree with this. Taking it further: Pretending/roleplaying that you have a set of traits or abilities can be a powerful mental tool in many situations - for your career or otherwise.
