A man who audaciously calls himself Pastor Lawrence has crawled from the gutter to declare that President Bola Tinubu is a "disgrace to the Yorùbás." He then vomited that if Tinubu were his family member, he would "disown his family name."

Let us cut through the nonsense. Pastor Lawrence is not a pastor. He is a fraud hiding behind a collar. He is not a voice for the Yoruba. He is a parasite feeding on the attention his cheap insults generate. And he is not a patriot. He is a coward who has never built a single thing in his life.

Where was Pastor Lawrence when Yoruba blood was spilled for democracy? Where was he when Abiola was murdered? Where was he when military boots were stomping on our heads? Hiding. Quiet. Useless.

But today, with a phone camera and a rented audience, he decides to insult the most powerful Yoruba leader on the planet. A man who built Lagos from a collapsing city to a global megacity. A man who mentored governors. A man who fought for the South-West when Pastor Lawrence was probably still learning to tie his shoes.

What exactly has this so-called pastor done for the Yoruba race? Where was he when military dictators were locking up our leaders? What school has he built? What road has he constructed? What business has he created to employ a single Yoruba youth? Nothing. Zero. Zilch.

President Bola Tinubu is not a disgrace to the Yoruba. He is the most consequential Yoruba leader since Chief Obafemi Awolowo. He fought for democracy when military boots were on our necks. He built Lagos from a decaying former capital into Africa's greatest city. He produced leaders across the South-West who now govern states, run businesses, and shape national policy.

And now, as President of Nigeria, he is making the tough decisions that past leaders ran away from. Fuel subsidy removal. Exchange rate unification. Infrastructural revival. Security reforms. These are not the actions of a disgrace. These are the actions of a man who understands that leadership requires pain before gain.

Pastor Lawrence wants to disown his family name if Tinubu were his relative? Please, go ahead. No Yoruba family worth their salt would claim a man who spends his time tearing down his own people instead of building anything of value. You are an embarrassment to the cloth you wear and the tribe you pretend to defend.

Yoruba people are not fools. We know who fought for us. We know who built for us. We know who still carries our banner in Aso Rock. And it is not Pastor Lawrence.

If anyone is a disgrace to the Yoruba name, it is a man who sits behind a keyboard or a pulpit and spews venom against his own without offering a single solution. Disown your family name? Please do. No Yoruba family would be proud to claim you.

Tinubu is not perfect. No leader is. But he is ours. He is Yoruba. And he has done more for this nation in three years than Pastor Lawrence has done in his entire miserable lifetime.

So here is our message to you, Pastor Lawrence. Shut your filthy mouth. Remove the "pastor" from your name because you have disgraced the office. And never speak for the Yoruba again.

We do not need your fake outrage. We do not need your parasitic commentary. And we certainly do not need you.

The Yoruba have a king. The Yoruba have a president. The Yoruba have a civilisation. You have nothing but hot air and a camera.
