@chocbloke @beezy430 Even the Ferrari release — why lock it to one platform? If it’s about independence, sell vinyl or go direct-to-consumer like many artists do. This paywalled, limited access stuff feels fake-deep. Not surprising the Yasiin or Erykah projects haven’t dropped.

@beezy430 The issue for me with Yasiin Bey is the paywalled, subscription-only releases (like Black Star). It feels arrogant. If he were a new artist, that approach would kill momentum. Legend status carries him, but the music + rollout no longer interest me.
