We all observed a minutes silence in our Remembrance assembly today. Different classes created poppies in different ways to help us remember those who fought for our county #RemembranceDay2023
Well done to our footballers in the @TottyCup last night. They showed great determination in a 4-2 defeat to Lacewood. They battled superbly to come from 3 down and almost made it back to 3-3 against a team who hadn't conceded a goal in qualifying. #Resilience
Well done to our Football Team. They qualified for the @TottyCup quarter Finals by finishing Runners-Up in the Wath Qualifying tournament and only conceding 1 goal in 5 matches. Thanks to @WathAcademy for hosting.
Well done to our Fabulous Football team, who played at half time at in the Premier League half time cup and won 3-1. Thank you @RUFC_CT for a great experience.
It might be Monday (boo) but the good news is that there are loads of FABULOUS children's books out at the moment!

Y6 have taken part in the Young Enterprise Fiver Challenge creating a product or service from only £5. At the end of the summer fayre after deducting the £5 that each group borrowed Y6 managed to make over £200 in profit. @youngenterprise @YoungMoneyEdu #excellence
Year 6 finished of their residential by a visit to @TreakCliff Cavern before conquering Mam Tor. There was even time for an ice cream before the coach arrived.
Another successful day of activities at Hollowford Centre. Rock scrambling brought out the inner weasel in some children. Some great #teamwork on display during problem solving activities. We also completed the orienteering and adventure courses. @LindleyET

What a beautiful celebration we had in school today with those children who received Holy Communion for the first time on Sunday. It was lovely to be joined by so many friends and family. #dioceseofhallam

Year 5 had an IT taster Day @WathAcademy They had a go at Robotics, photoshop, coding and learned about hardwear and software. All of this and still time for their swimming lesson. #Lifeskills
Thank you to @jmatschools for a fun orienteering event this evening. We triumphed in both the Year3/4 boys and Y3/4 girls events and finished runners up in the Y5/6 Boys event. Well done everyone. #Outdoorlearning
