To all Eurosceptics:
Our National Governments are basically all for Chat Control, and the EU parliament was against.
The major ones to blame are the EPP, S&D, US big-tech and our National Governments.
Blaming the EU shields the ones responsible for this violation of privacy.
@AngelicaOung I think the war in Ukraine has proved that bringing Eastern Europe into NATO was the right move. The point of NATO is to prevent war in Europe. If not for NATO, russia would pick these countries one-by-one. You're the one who's naive if you think russia is the repressed one here
kremlin's bot farms have learned, over time, the most effective ways of sowing division between people in the West. Those racist 'Polish' accounts in your replies? West-hating 'Ukrainians'? The deranged 'British nationalists'? With the exception of a few idiots, all russian bots.
For more than two years, Western legacy media have relentlessly repeated the claims that "Israel deliberately kills journalists," that "Gaza is the deadliest place on earth for journalists," and that a "record-breaking number of journalists" have been killed.
From the very beginning, Israel argued that many Hamas and PIJ operatives masquerade as journalists—wearing press vests, carrying press credentials, and embedding themselves among genuine reporters—making it extraordinarily difficult to distinguish legitimate journalists from combatants. Israel has consistently maintained that it targets only militants, while acknowledging that genuine journalists have sometimes been tragically killed as collateral damage.
Now we have incontrovertible evidence that Hamas and PIJ themselves are celebrating many of these supposed "journalists" as mujahideen and martyrs. Even the Committee to Protect Journalists has removed a whole list of these supposedly slain "journalists" from its records, and they are now conducting a full review of their database (https://t.co/k9FdiACysZ). Below is a compilation, complete with screenshots, of 97 alleged "journalists" who were in fact Hamas or PIJ terrorists.
Do you understand what this means? For two years, the media gullibly amplified Hamas propaganda. Now that the narrative has fallen apart, they fall completely silent.
It's the same pattern we saw with the infamous "70% women and children" casualty figure, endlessly cited as proof of "genocide" by virtually every major news outlet, until Hamas's own data revisions exposed it as bullshit (casualties are overwhelmingly male and of fighting age). And then... tumbleweeds.
No retractions. No accountability. No admission of error. Just a collective shrug—"Who cares anymore?"—before everyone moves on to the next calumny: "Israel is deliberately hunting little children with drones!"
I've tried for a long time to preserve at least some semblance of trust in the legacy media. But I find this utterly revolting. These institutions have been completely captured by ideology, nowhere more so than in Europe.
So please, spare us the lectures about right-wing "disinformation" and "fake news". After this performance, you've forfeited any claim to moral authority on the subject.
"This means that almost all Western media outlets have unflinchingly disseminated Hamas propaganda to their tens of millions of viewers, while disregarding Israeli figures almost entirely. The world’s journalists have taken the word of jihadi butchers above the evidence-based testimony of a friendly democracy and shared this narrative with the world.
It is no exaggeration to say that this comprises one of the gravest failures of journalistic scepticism in modern times. The uncomfortable truth is that we have been living through the most intense age of propaganda since Soviet times, made only more appalling by the fact that it has been spread voluntarily within supposedly free societies."

@LiinaMaurer Ma arvan et peaasjalikult on probleem ministeeriumi kommunikatsioonis. https://t.co/EhPKN7cto3
Nagu mida see artikkel ütleb? Kuidas see tavainimest mõjutab? Loomulikult ma loen postimehest kokkuvõtet kuidas Terras võtab vanaemalt maasikaraha ära. Palju arusaadavam
@Bricktop_NAFO I've heard that if a post includes a link, it will be suppressed by the algorithm (to combat spam?). That's why a lot of people put the link in a thread (follow-up post)
@WillyPete300@joni_askola That and a huge territory which inexplicably isn't enough for their greedy little minds. They only have to offer what they can dig from the ground and sell cheaply
"I have emphasized the idea of a United States of Europe several times as the only solution for Europe if it wants to remain relevant on the world map- it is the period of global powers. And Europe can only be a global power if it speaks with one voice."

@DanasMuse1@qirimlia@TheRickWilson She is part of the invasion force. That's how russia operates - take over a region, deport locals, move in russians, impose russian language and rules.
@HoroshiyRusski@euromaximal Ok fine. Anyway, i don't think the EU countries should go lenient on russia. The war should not be whitewashed and explained away, just to go back to business as usual. This is serious and conditions must be set. Russia must show it has changed
@HoroshiyRusski@euromaximal Btw this is also why the war has been going on so long. Russia has nukes, and the implicit position of russia (which everyone knows but noone says out loud) has been: if we dont get what we want, we will nuke everbody. No. I don't agree to this. Must be defeated.
