The follow-up is the useful part. Long-term holders get moderate leverage they can hold indefinitely, at a fraction of what a leveraged ETF costs to carry. On cbBTC the junior side targets about 1.33x, sized to the asset instead of a 2x or 3x sticker. Junior takes the first loss and gets the extra exposure, with no liquidation engine waiting on a wick. Senior sits behind that buffer and earns yield for supplying the leverage. Leverage is sourced from stable yield, not from shorts.

@2FactorFinance is on Base and works with Coinbase to bring that Kelly-optimized leverage onchain. That is a real use case for the Coinbase tokenized stocks ecosystem: stocks are less violent than Bitcoin, so the band where a moderate multiple can compound is wider. Leverage you might still want in a year, not a product that decays if you forget to close it.
