President Trump is right to be publicly exasperated with Putin. Putin’s deliberate use of violence against civilian targets for three straight days requires a response. American military aid to Ukraine should be dramatically increased in quantity, quality and freedom to use it anywhere including in Russia. The secondary oil embargo should be imposed to break the Russian economy and Russian financial operations outside Russia should be blocked. Putin will only stop if he has no choice. Any other strategy is wishful thinking which will extend the war and cost more innocent lives.

And this, despite Witkoff coming for a pre-arranged meeting on matters of war and peace.

Then, he sent Trump's special envoy home with a deliberately impossible list of demands, designed to be nothing but an insult.

I don't get it -- how many more times does Putin need to wipe his feet on America—how much more blatantly—before the Trump administration finally admits that he is not their friend and that there was never going to be any easy or quick "deal"?
