Started prepping a TT02 for a newly created local RC Rally class.
3D printed some pieces to cover the front of the chassis, got some longer shocks to fit and a Subaru WRX body to top it off 😃

@alantaylorjones It’s actually such a fun time to be into 1/64th models.
Loads of great castings.
Lots of Euro stuff too right now. The Rally set with 6R4, 037 etc is amazing looking.

@alantaylorjones This is exactly why I’m still aboard the EV hype train.
It’s no big deal to carry a jerry can of fuel for emergencies. What does one do in an EV?
Especially where I live.

Found this great motor amongst some of my old stuff last night.
Weirdly I removed the armature and bearings at some point.
Will find those and freshen it up with some new brushes for the shelf 🤩

Picked up this original #Tamiya Frog recently, and started tearing it down for a cleaning and refresh.
Got some new parts ready for it, mostly from the re-release version, but that’s ok, this is just for fun, and will most likely sell it on when done.

I was fortunate enough to race with Iain BITD, always helpful and softly spoken.
Loved chatting with him about racing when I visited the store.
I live much further away these days, but I will visit again!
