@MinotHighAD@AveryLunde In every disaster there lies an opportunity, seizing that opportunity is the key to recovering both physically and emotionally. Never let an injury define your life, make it the point where your strength, determination, and faith defined your life!
@DomIzzoWDAY The committee seemed to do this regularly when it benefited the desired narrative. Not ok to have Cheyenne play ValCity, a team 2.6 x smaller, but perfectly ok to have Belcourt play B-Ryan a team 6 times smaller- play 1/6 their size is just shifting the problem to someone else.
@DomIzzoWDAY The rational for pushing for a 3 class came from the surveys. 18 of 160 people responded that they were in favor of addressing the competitive balance. Like all statistics, you can interpret the data to read how you want. 1/2
@DomIzzoWDAY If change is going to happen, then a complete change will need to happen. Go to a final 4 in the AA and the A, this allows for super tournaments where boys and girls can be held in 1 gym on 1 weekend. What makes the B special is that it doesn’t happen every year for sm towns.
@DomIzzoWDAY The simple fix is to move to a “Final 4” format at the A level. This would allow 4 games a day for a Friday/Saturday state tournament. This would also allow any of the 8 larger cities in the state to host the tourney as only 1 court is required.
