@helen_laycock@Tesco Wtf. You guys have infrastructure that can't handle minor heat waves and you get charged for parking at the grocery store. Move to the US. I'll try to work on imoroviy immigration laws.
@trashinho7@anonymous1v6b@TheRobBrownShow Who didn't think of that? Of course great athletes are likely to be good at a sport if dedicated training in it from youth. Not everyone, of course, but good genetics, agility, proprioception, and mental dedication is not limited to a single sport.
@Ephsquare@Hhh1687722 Obviously. Only idiots are saying 100% of NBA players would be football pros. But, many of them have the agility and proprioception to learn the skills, if started young with good coaching. And, what goes into IQs of each sport, but many would learn it in those circumstances.
@Ephsquare@Hhh1687722 Are you claiming that NBA players of a suitable CB build would not be nimble if they were in an English football academy from their youth?
@calvinbarr15@TheRealRedShed The top club teams dont let their kids play high school soccer. Top club season goes the whole school year, and 3 months of school soccer can be a step backwards in development due to poor coaching. That's what you'd have to solve.
