It is my unfortunate duty to announce that I have been conscripted for the purposes of participating in a mandatory grass touching program (informally referred to as camping).
I shall therefore be more or less unavailable for the duration of this week. In other words, farewell!
We may forget about all this nonsense sooner or later, but Labour won’t, nor will Reform UK. Our opponents can’t defeat us, but they don’t need to if we defeat ourselves. Every rumour we propagate is just more ammunition that’ll be used against ALL of us. (4/4)
Perhaps our dominance has given some members a false sense of confidence and security, so let me remind those individuals that the public has no obligation to vote Tory. (1/4)
The next election is a while away, but how we‘re perceived at the ballot box is being decided right now. If we allow this drama to escalate, and thereafter pretend as though nothing happened, we will sacrifice the authenticity which got us elected in the first place. (3/4)
Parliamentary Democracy is the binding force of the Commonwealth, cooperation on parliamentary affairs strengthens our democracies and brings us closer together.
I look forward to further cooperation, especially when it involves a great friend of mine!
Earlier today, the Australian Olympic Team proudly took part in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games held in Quebec, Canada. Let’s Go Team Australia!
You may have noticed recently that my twitter bio has changed to remove all indications of my affiliation with BAU Labor, for those of you who may be wondering, here’s why:

Earlier today, I had the high honour of presiding over a session of the House of Commons.
There was of course the usual passion and frankly I‘m quite grateful that I’m only the Deputy Speaker!
In all seriousness though I’m deeply grateful for being afforded such a privilege.
Nothing I say will ever be appropriate for such an occasion, so let me instead quote French solider Louis Barthas as he described the Christmas of 1915.
“Frenchmen and Germans looked at each other, and saw that they were all men, no different from one another.”
Lest we forget.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I’m afraid I’ll be going on a family vacation within the next 2 hours.
I’m supposed to arrive back Tuesday (AEDT) although not sure at what time.
In other words, there’s a good chance you won’t see me for the next few days.
After a period of deep reflection, I am at last ready to announce not only my future but also that of the Australian Labor Party.

Whether you voted for him or not, @BatemanBUK is now our PM. I wish him the best of luck.
Also, just as a footnote, apparently some pommies didn’t know Irish-Australian history was a thing so here’s the Wikipedia: https://t.co/afUy9xnZp5
The polls are open! If you’re an Australian citizen you would’ve been pinged in the Electoral Feed channel so make sure to check the BUK discord server if you haven’t already.
Remember, every vote matters!
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. If you need to overlay a black and white filter to make your opponent look bad, it probably says something about the strength of your argument.
➡️ Always remember who truly supports your interests. A one-man party can't lead our nation forward effectively.
As a united force, we are committed to working tirelessly for you and the improvement of our country. A vote for Liberal means Moving Australia Forward!
