Ryan Bridge from Raise the Colours has been charged with 14 criminal offences by Thames Valley Police, including common assault and one count of racially aggravated fear of violence. So when he says, “Come round the corner,” we all know what he means.
Ryan Bridge’s friend and Raise the Colours co-founder Billy Allison is on remand awaiting trial for murder.
Ryan’s other mate from Raise the Colours, Ben Cullen, has been charged with three counts of making indecent images.
Look at how he deflects.
Appeals from the Green Party for their surge in London canvassing for next weeks by election this weekend-I’m currently house band recovering from sepsis or I’d be there in a heartbeat-if you can make it you could make a difference-VOTE GREEN
Prisons are overcrowded because we are locking up tens of thousands of people with drug problems, mental health issues and low educational attainment. Meanwhile, Michelle Mone, Post Office bosses, billionaire tax dodgers and those responsible for Grenfell Tower walk free.
#Disabled people need to know this: Rail Delivery Group has awarded @nimbusdis a £1.75m contract to decide Disabled Persons Railcard eligibility, reviewing medical/benefit evidence. This goes far beyond an access card. Where is the scrutiny of assessors, appeals and safeguards?
A woman on campus confronted Gillio Lopes, of the Cornell 7 rapists in the. That takes fucking courage
How is this dude still at Cornell university ??!!! What’s the reason piece of trash ??!!!
They claim it costs £8,000 a month to keep someone in a care home
The actual cost including staff, energy, accommodation and food is more like £3,000
But the Landlord, owners, and staffing companies need their vast profits
Renationalise Social Care and it will be affordable
I’ve just completed a delivery to a local woman.
She has two children, one dog and is the sole provider.
She asked for food, gas and electric.
She kept repeating “thank you” over and over as we delivered the food, and topped her meters up.
She kept repeating that without she doesn’t know where she would have been.
Gas. Electric. Food. All necessities not luxuries.
As the year continues and the cold weather arrives things will begin to get harder for families and children. #foodbank
Daniel Thomas was crying when police stopped the car he was travelling in with his child, but he didn't seem to care when he tried to kidnap the wrong man in front of his own one-year-old daughter and his partner.
He punched the man in front of his daughter, pinned him against a wall and tried to drag him into a waiting car while armed with a machete over coke.
When a woman is assaulted, MANY will initially tell themselves it isn’t a big deal, will convince themselves they’re overreacting, or initially try to soothe the perpetrator’s feelings. This is not just normal, but COMMON.
I asked some friends of mine to do a few lines of my poem ‘Ode To Square Chapel’ in support of my quest to help #SaveSquareChapelArts in Halifax.
Without hesitation… they all chipped in. 🙌
It’s what friends are for.
Please re-post if you enjoy! x
I attended a woman’s home tonight after a woman made contact with our charity foodbank.
She’s a single parent with three children and is struggling with depression. She had just £7 left on her gas and was £10 overdrawn on her electricity meter, with very little food in the house.
We topped up her gas and electricity and brought food. As we were leaving, she asked us to stay and talk. She wanted to feel seen. She wanted to feel heard.
We stayed, listened and talked about local support, including walking groups.
When she opened the door, she was quiet, upset and teary. After 25 minutes, she was smiling and seemed relieved.
We often hear people talk about kindness. It matters when we put it into action. Sometimes, listening is what someone needs most.
it's chilling how many men think women "regret" sex so much they would spend years of their life enduring public humiliation and scrutiny by accusing men of rape. where did this talking point even come from? I'm seeing it in the replies of nearly every tweet about cornell
A long time coming.
The lives of the Grenfell community have been on pause for the last nine years, while those responsible for the deaths of 72 innocent people have continued to live theirs.
I hope all those found responsible end up behind bars, where they should have been a long time ago, and that we finally see justice delivered.
What are the security checks for flight crew members? Don't they go through the same strict security checks that we all go through? If the pilot was stabbed with a knife, how on earth did he manage to get it through security?
Let me make this crystal clear. Jane Doe should NEVER be publicly identified. We don't want her name. We WANT the names of the 57 “men” who were complicit.
