In its simplest terms, the apparent demise of #USAID is the result of the world's richest man ending a program that helps millions of poor people. You don't need a Ph.D. in moral theology to see why this is an evil. You can just read Jesus's parables on the rich and the poor.
Trump is expected to select Marco Rubio to be his Secretary of State.
I’m sure Marco would hate it if you RTed this clip of him saying
if Trump hadn't inherited $200 million dollars, he’d be a selling watches in Manhattan."
Fox News just called Trump out.
I get it—people don’t want criminals entering the country. But most Americans also don’t want the U.S.-born children (American citizens) of undocumented immigrants forced to leave. They don’t want Grandma deported. And many don’t want hardworking contributors to our economy expelled, either.
People voted for stronger borders, but what they’re getting looks like an extreme approach. Trump didn’t tell you the whole story.
We’re going to see videos of young American kids deported alongside their immigrant parents. We’ll see elderly women being forced to leave. Let’s see how that impacts the way people vote in 2026 and 2028.
Donald Trump and his transition team are already breaking the law.
I would know because I wrote the law.
Incoming presidents are required to prevent conflicts of interest and sign an ethics agreement.

It should come as no surprise that a number of liberals have followed the Democrats’ anti-immigrant, “secure the border” pivot to its logical endpoint, and are now turning collaborator. But it bears repeating: if your advocacy for human rights is conditional, it’s worthless.
I mean, she could refuse to do it at all, baselessly claim the election was stolen, cause an insurrection, and run again in four years if that would make people feel more comfortable.
"We're going to put kids in cages. It's going to be glorious."
(Mike Davis - possible Trump pick for Attorney General)
We're about to see just how incompatible "MAGA" and Christianity really are.
So uh Twisters ruled, big loud movie with brains and heart and a keen visual sense. Feels like an all-time classic blockbuster that harkens back to the character drama-focused first film with big stakes. Movies rule, and I want to see all of them on the biggest screen possible
Viggo Mortensen on the state of film criticism: "What passes for critical thinking in terms of reviews is pretty poor."
“In terms of the reviewer having some understanding of film history, how movies are made—the level is really low. There are some good reviewers, some really interesting conversations are had from journalists in terms of their reactions to films, but it’s not great. As a director, certainly as a director-producer, I pay attention. It matters to me more, a lot more than as an actor because the fate of the movie, whether it’s going to be distributed well, whether it’s going to be seen in movie theaters—a lot hangs in the balance as to how it’s received critically.”

This. If you’re adapting a comic for animation, remember 1/2 of a comic is scrip. The other half is visual. You can’t adapt half a comic and call it a day. Style, coloring, lighting, character design, and framing are all crucial aspects of why TLH is timeless.
People on here will say anything. They’ll be like “coldest scene in movie history” then post a clip of Cyclops saying “fuck” in Dark Phoenix. No. No, that’s not cold. You don’t even believe what you’re writing. Stop it.
Facts. Are we just letting Tumblr users name all our monsters now? Guess anything can become canon if we just decide it
Look out for the Boombly-Woombly Nasty Noise Stompers!! See I can do it too, how did you not know that was their real name, you must be stoopid
