@corbinceeds @Darnell@notaxation@ewarren Jesus, we just keep going in circles. It *doesn't* matter. You vote for the politician based on policies - at least in theory. You don't vote for a politician because he campaigned in your backyard.
@mascdonna @isiahmeadows1 @Darnell@notaxation@ewarren It's a baseless claim about an archaic system meant to maintain certain power structures. Electorally speaking it's undemocratic.
Leger er op afsturen! Afvoeren naar tuigdorpen! Toeslagen van ouders korten! Desnoods knieschoten om respect voor de handhavers van de openbare orde te herstellen!
Niemand? O, wacht: dat soort dingen roepen politici enkel over etnische minderheden, niet over blanke asocialen.
@isiahmeadows1 @Darnell@notaxation@ewarren They don't live on the moon. There is TV, radio, newspapers and increasingly better internet connection. There's nothing that limited, temporary physical proximity can add. It's an archaic, undemocratic system designed to benefit a handful of people.
@isiahmeadows1 @Darnell@notaxation@ewarren That is no excuus for maintaining an archaic voting system. Today everyone has access to information regarding political policies. If you choose not to vote for a politician because s/he isn't physically campaigning in your proximity then that is your problem.
@isiahmeadows1 @Darnell@notaxation@ewarren You don't address my point either. What do their policies have to do with whether they come campaigning in your kitchen?
Let's be very clear: Anyone who denies climate change at this point is either willfully ignorant or complicit in protecting fossil fuel profits over the safety and security of our children and grandchildren. #COP25
