@Tony__Clark There are approximately 280,000 non-permanent residents living in Alberta. Many of them currently qualify for AHCIP. Yet Albertans are being asked to vote on restricting or charging these residents without being told exactly which immigration statuses would remain eligible.
Foreign workers visited Alberta emergency rooms ~30,000 times last year out of ~2.3 million visits.
Meaning, foreign workers were 1.3% of total visits.
Foreign workers are not responsible for the state of Alberta health care.

It’s hard to go from in love to let go in a week with no warning, but that’s just how it is sometimes 🤷🏻♀️
I feel happy that I got to show Elon how it feels to be deeply understood, nurtured, and peacefully loved with stability and gentleness. Given the tumultuous nature of his early life, his often tortured soul, and how hard he fights for humanity I wanted him to feel the deepest and most stable form of love this world can provide. My heart is full knowing I got to do that, and I hope it leaves a lasting good effect.
We were always his safe space. A place where all of us were overjoyed to see him and one that was always full of happiness and love, not war, in contrast to his otherwise militant existence (a needed break from the battlefield where he could recharge his heart and soul before heading back out)
I loved being that counterbalancing place of safety, sense of calm, and love — and delighted in bringing a smile back to his face when he was down. I will miss him dearly.
I’ve loved him more than life itself and he’s taught me 100 lifetimes of knowledge and made my cup overflow with life meaning, so there is a lot of loss, but luckily we created four beautiful little loves of my life ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am so beyond grateful for our children and they make every single day the best day of my life! I do hope and pray he and I can be great friends and coparents.
I’m hurting, but care deeply about E and will always be cheering for his happiness. God speed, Elon, the world is lucky to have you.
True.
People who have really been hard done by as Canadians.
The indignity and misery of being Albertans in Canada, enjoying one of the highest standards of living on Earth.
Throw off the chains of oppression!
@auntiemlin What kind of democracy lets private corporations abuse public trust. It is exactly the role of government to protect jobs and hold corporations accountable.
We have not seen a caravan headed to the U.S. southern border in several years, why now?
Oh yeah, there is an election coming and the GOP needs to scare you into voting because nothing else is working.
🔴Tariffs Backfire: Canada Hits the Brakes on U.S. Cars
U.S. tariffs meant to pressure Canada are backfiring on American automakers. Only 28.4% of new vehicles sold in Canada in H1 2026 were U.S.-built, down from 35.4% a year earlier and about 40% from 2021–2025, J.D. Power Canada reports. A decade ago nearly half were American-made.
A 25% U.S. levy on Canadian cars, slated to double and expand to parts, steel and vehicles in January 2027, sparked Canadian counter-tariffs on U.S. autos, steel and aluminum. Canada remains the largest U.S. auto export market—larger than the next 10 combined—with over $100 billion in annual trade.
Brian Kingston said every metric shows U.S. policy is damaging the U.S. auto industry. GM and Stellantis reported billions in losses. Kelley Blue Book estimates prices could jump $6,000. Since January 2025 the U.S. has lost about 75,000 manufacturing jobs, including 25,900 in vehicles and parts.
🚨🚨🚨 Folks planning to vote "to send a message" by starting the separation process: please take note of the NDP's win tonight in the most conservative part of urban Canada.
A vote to separate is a vote to help the NDP win the next provincial election, and for the Liberal Party of Canada to win far more Alberta seats.
Supporting separatism:
👉 Splits the conservative movement
👉 Pushes many patriotic conservative voters to support the Liberals and NDP
That's not how to make Alberta stronger, but weaker and more divided.
🚨The true story behind the viral meme...
Spoiler Alert: The Canada Goose won.😂
Wildlife photographer Mervyn Sequeira recounts the moment he captured a Canada goose and a bald eagle battling it out on the ice in Burlington, Ont.
Canada welcomes that the U.S. is now withdrawing its positions on discoverability and labelling and is confirming that measures to promote French language and Canadian culture will not be subject to future U.S. trade actions.
We look forward to further constructive U.S. clarifications on their other positions which would create the possibility of a mutually beneficial trade agreement that respects Canadian sovereignty.
