@chilternrailway hi no power in the sockets in carriage D of the 07.39 from Marylebone to Oxford. I’ve tried 5 & none are working in the so called new trains. Why is this? Had the same issue last week. It’s quite a basic & simple thing to get right. Who checks this en route pls?

@chilternrailway I’ve just got off the 11.08am from Banbury in Marylebone & felt like kissing the ground when we arrived as most of the journey I was scared for my safety. I could see 3 other passengers literally clinging onto the seats in front as the train was rocking so badly

@chilternrailway on the 9.02am from Marylebone to Birmingham and we are being thrown around and rocked out of our seats particularly between High Wycombe and Haddenham. Is the driver going too fast? Are the new trains safe? Quite concerned for our safety.

@chilternrailway @chilternrailway I’m not sure how this is something that should be raised with Network Rail as it felt very much like the train that is owned and operated by Chiltern to be at fault purely by the fact this has never been experienced on this line until the new trains

@chilternrailway @chilternrailway very big rocking motions that caused someone to fall off that seat. At one pony it felt like we had hit a rock and at other times it felt like we had even gone over a bump. But the swaying was very bad and you could not do anything other than cling on

@chilternrailway @chilternrailway a very hairy bit was around midday. That’s when it felt like we were leaving the track. I travel on these services regularly but only had this with the new trains. Have they definitely been tested at these speeds?

@chilternrailway @chilternrailway there was a lot of different kinds of movement but the majority was a very very big rocking to the point I felt like I was on a ferry in rough seas which is why me & ppl in the carriage were literally grabbing to the seats in front of us. Is it a known issue?

@chilternrailway on an unbearably hot train from Bicester to London currently. Is the driver aware there is no air con working? There is no way of contacting them. Pls help! We are cooking!

@chilternrailway @chilternrailway thanks for the reply. Has the driver confirmed the air con is definitely turned on? And has anyone else reported issues further down the train? I believe the door number is 58165
