@GhanaMet Thanks. Really appreciated
If Ghana Meteo can go a step further and subscribe to a service that sends SMS and Whatsapps via Whatsapp Channel to everybody in Accra after a few hours of consistent rain so we stay put or evacuate, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks once again
@StatsGH Interesting.
Why rent and how?
And who collects comprehensive data on rent payments?
That notwithstanding, thanks for the data and the update.
Dear #ECGghOfficial
Do you have challenges with your power purchase platform? Been trying to buy credit with your app as well as ExpressPay but have been unable to.
@newstart_2024 Same dude predicted how the Cybertruck was going to revolutionize the automotive industry and make Internal Combustion Engines obsolete. Make we think joh
GOOD NEWS:
The President-elect says Ghana Health Service will no longer manage UGMC @ugmedicalcentre. The University of Ghana will set up a special unit to manage the hospital for optimum benefit. I'm so relieved, because they were going to collapse that beautiful facility.
@Joy997FM If Elections are won at the Polling Station, then in this digital age, once ballots are counted, agreed upon & pink sheets signed, results must be transmitted DIRECTLY to the EC as is currently done by the political parties.
Collation centres must simply became warehouses
I have just finished reading the Supreme Court’s decision in the Vacant Seats case.
And I must say, In great contrast to the Majority’s decision, Justice Tanko’s dissent is profoundly erudite.
The dissent shows both the moral urgency and the intellectual dexterity that is reminiscent of some of the greatest decisions this country has ever seen. It was a great nostalgic feeling to read him and the constitutional clarity of mind he exhibits.
His analysis is matured and not rushed. He is focused on the basics of the pillars of the exercise of constitutional jurisdiction. You can feel his struggle to even fathom how the Supreme Court will even allow this case to proceed.
Truly, I felt deeply his prayer that he hopes this decision comes to be reversed soon, refreshingly honest yet exasperated. It’s the prayer of a man who so loves the Court and who now sees his vocation and its core values slip away. Particularly in the face of a majority decision that is grasping at straws to even remain consistently logical.
This is the kind of intellectual engagement that this long era of “unanimous decisions” have robbed us of.
I feel alive again!
Thank you Justice Amadu Tanko. Posterity will set you right!
