@wormsofbarlo@notsovrtlpauper You commenting on it specifically in regards to teachers implies you agree it’s particularly prevalent amongst teachers which is just not true. TMs life is also, arguably more, localized to be just comedy and entertainment
@eternalclancy@cott122 I think you and I can both agree that the majority of scholarship is subjective and designed to advance patriarchal cultural standards rather than theology itself. Regardless of how fucked up that lady is, weaponizing the hijab and spreading misinformation online is not it
@eternalclancy@cott122 I’m using an extreme example to demonstrate the logical fallacy in your argument. Just because millions of women happen to wear the hijab does not mean it’s theologically mandated. are you fucking stupid
@rotten_werk@dingalingus144 Yeah seems like you have a form of ocd, maybe moral, and are extending it to other people when the reality is that most people’s sanctimonious behavior is likely just a plain nastiness rather than a pathology that’s harming their life significantly enough to warrant diagnosis
@Velteger@Balthair1@lethalvampire It is patently impossible to determine what it is that she is afraid of you just heard a take and used it to draw up a story in your head
@Balthair1@lethalvampire she can both be privileged and have ocd you dimwit none of that justifies all of twitter making her villain of the week for what? holding her face in a way that disagrees with you?
@Balthair1@lethalvampire you can tell that ur projecting ur class anxiety onto this woman becasue she doesnt even look at anybody with disgust, just fear over her surroundings which is expected with ocd. if she were truly as classist and hateful as u claim she would never have agreed to try the subway
@Balthair1@lethalvampire you have some insane class resentment which youre taking out on someone that twitter told you it was okay to pile on. you do not know that lady.
@Balthair1@lethalvampire first of all if your sister has ocd you would know that it manifests differently and the fact that the family knew she would react that way and was prepared to accomodate at the turnstile and had something to lay down on the seat shows theres defintiely a pattern of ocd behavior
@llesterknopf@yummmyyyu Anybody with cocd immediately clocked what was going on in that video. You can admit you either simply don’t have severe ocd or extend little empathy to those whose ocd themes differ from your own a
