Open Labour’s NEC candidates want to fix Labour’s broken politics, so that our party culture is more open and welcoming.
Please vote for @AnnBlackLabour@JermainJackman @CllrGeorge & @aliceperryuk in the NEC elections🌹
NEW: Shadow Chancellor Anneliese Dodds and shadow mental health minister Dr Rosena Allin-Khan have endorsed Open Labour candidates in the ongoing NEC elections at a rally held by the soft-left group this evening: https://t.co/uo4mixIyVJ
"I am happy being the candidate who is not backed by either of Young Labour’s two traditional warring wings. We cannot begin to transform YL without first being open and honest about its current state." @cathleenc_ sets out her stall (and spills some tea)🚨https://t.co/3YulIOH6Lv

Congratulations to @aliceperryuk for securing 9 group nominations so far and securing her place on the ballot.
Thanks to Ipswich, Somerset, Corby and Medway
We're very pleased to see the @UKLabour NEC adopt a fairer voting system, where all members count and all of us matter. This is good news for member democracy.
If you want sweeping majorities you now need sweeping support - but it's also harder for any faction to be erased.
We hope to see a lot of our members at the very important joint @OpenLabour and @JewishLabour event about the EHRC on Wednesday.
It will no doubt be a hard hitting and emotional evening, but one that is extremely necessary.
If you're 25-30, and your main circle isn't frequently discussing:
~ what is the soft left
~ STV for internal elections
~ no really what is the soft left
And is instead discussing:
~ stocks
~ real estate
~ opening businesses
Then it's time to elevate your circle
What an insult to our hard working brave student nurses especially at this time of covid national emergency.
Labour will alway stand with our nurses and student nurses. I was proud to have stood on a manifesto promising to bring back the bursary.
Today Boris Johnson will abolish DFID.
Subsuming the real needs of communities around the World to Britain’s Foreign Policy agenda under Johnson and Raab is a form of Neo-Imperialism.
Doing it on the 4th Anniversary of Jo Cox’s death is a cruel insult
