@DividendGrowth Do you have a blog post on this by any chance? I couldn't find one. I have more money in taxable vs deferred accounts. Last few years the taxes on the dividends haven't been pretty.
@DividendGrowth As a dividend growth investor, do you personally hold large sums of dividend stocks in your taxable account (assuming you’ve maxed out your retirements accounts first)?
“If you want to get warm you must stand near the fire: if you want to be wet you must get into the water. If you want joy, power, peace, eternal life, you must get close to, or even into, the thing that has them.”

“Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the LORD as he did—with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, in accordance with all the Law of Moses.”

Why pay more to sit next to old Tranny Clause over there, when you can sit on my lap? Phyllis is only pretending to be a man. I’m the real thing. Sit on my lap and there’ll be no doubt.
Life only has meaning/I only have worth if-
I have power and influence over others. (Power Idolatry)
I am loved and respected by X. (Approval)
I have this kind of pleasure, a particular quality of life. (Comfort)
I am able to get mastery over my life in the area of X. (Control)
All of us hide things about ourselves—things we don’t want others to know or see. Because if they did, they would leave us. God knows and sees those things. And he promised that he would never leave you. The worst parts of you do not tempt God to give up on you.
My goal is to hold Grace's hand and go for walks all over the world until we walk into the Kingdom together. The last day of marriage is the most important day.
Our culture’s accepted two huge lies:
1. If you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear or hate them.
2. To love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do.
Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.
