I’m glad to publish a sonnet, “Ophelia,” in the new issue of Baltimore Review. It’s an ekphrastic poem about John Everett Millais’s famous and disturbing painting. The model, Elizabeth Siddall, really did catch a terrible cold while posing in a bathtub.
