As part of โgiving something backโ @BeecroftGdn, Year 1 made Christmas cards for local elderly people who are celebrating with a special Christmas lunch tomorrow, organised by @ketracommunity and @OurGipsyHill. We enjoyed writing special messages to them to brighten up their day!
Happy Diwali to all of our families who celebrate! We have been very busy making Rangoli patterns, writing cards, designing Mehndi on hands and making Diya lamps. A lovely girl in our class brought in some books on Diwali to share with us from home which we enjoyed reading too!
Beautiful owl made from cardboard recycling materials through an online workshop delivered by @DarrellWakelam and a few of our clay owls that we painted during our recent Art Day with the wonderful @artmember209
@DarrellWakelam @artmember209 Thank you very much for today Darrell!! The children were fascinated by being taught online by an artist and enjoyed creating art from their recycled goods! Really appreciated your patience and enthusiasm with us :)
So today's Zoom workshop took me to the very excited Year 2 kids at Beecroft Garden Primary, we started making some owls which I think they will enjoy finishing and painting . . . when they've stopped waving at me. ๐๐๐
