This project in Huddersfield deserves support. Perhaps inevitably these days it’s in flux looking for a new home and finding but there should be a maker world in every town and an art room with a piano in every school .. #allschoolsshouldbeartschools https://t.co/WDO62x9NXR
@DarrellWakelam@icod I think we were told we were our own responsibility from a very young age. We were latch key kids. If we were looked after, it might be by another child only a few years older. And no one knew where we were and that was fine too. A fine line between freedom and deglect!
@DarrellWakelam@icod I agree. In instances like these public service films, it’s about the individual being aware of their surroundings, away from ‘grown up’ policing. Kids need to learn independently. One hot week and what? 15 deaths, is horrendous.
@DarrellWakelam@icod Yep. All of the classics. It worked on us didnt it? We couldnt have blamed anyone else if we had still chosen to go into the water.
@thosethatcan@Headteacherchat Academy regime takeover, horrendous behaviour systems and expectations. threats of redundancy and no point in an exit interview. I would have been wasting my breath
@mcshamrock Loved Woodhouse Feast. The cinder park. There was a little one on Scotthall fields too. Near the roundabout on the windmill side. Much smaller though.
