@levelsio What a stupid system.
Much better here in Denmark. The state just pays the wage after 1 month and it is easy to fire employees. If they are continually sick more than 180 days, the employer can just fire them for being sick.
This is a confession to treason.
Elon Musk, a private individual and not an elected official, hijacked U.S. national defence policy to harm partner Ukraine and help enemy Russia.

The most important thing today is that Starlink and Starshield operations have been restored to the speeds we had before the restrictions. The speeds are now where they need to be. The restoration began overnight, and by this morning, speeds were already sufficient. This matters: for our frontline logistics, for defending Ukraine against jet-powered “shaheds.”
I thank all Americans and all our partners who took this seriously and truly helped – members of Congress, senators, all the media, the State Department, and the President. Protecting lives matters.
@heyandras@Cloudflare@coolifyio Because it is an awesome platform. Donated 100USD yesterday because you guys shipped that PHP patch so promptly - mad respect!
We are moving to the most dangerous time for the European Project ever.
There is no beating around the bush here, and a lot of Europe's politicians are semi-resposible for it by caving in.
Europeans do want a more united, capable Europe, but our politicians are scared because meh the far right is in sight! But they forget what actually fuels it: inaction.
The European Project has been at a standstill since 1999, made for the old world.
In 2026, our world is simply significantly different than it was in 1999, and the EU requires an overhaul.
Less bureaucracy, less layers, a United Europe that is capable to act as one, but celebrates our internal variety.
Those who do not act are as much as a danger as those who want to rip the project apart, because they're both doing the same thing: making the EU an organisation that was made for 1999, not today.
And that will cause issues, massive ones.
So we call for politicians to finally pick up steam again, while the EU has the highest public support it ever had, and update it towards being fit for the current age.
If that doesn't happen, we need to accept the fact Europe would need to choose an overlord, America or China.
Let's avoid that at all costs.
@levelsio It is not black and white like this. Sometimes you have to agree to an earnout to get more money, because you remove risk for the buyer of you leaving immediately.
A historic video – November 22, 1994:
The U.S. President thanks Ukraine for giving up its nuclear weapons. In return, the U.S. promises to stand by Ukraine’s side to safeguard its independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity well into the future.
That future has arrived—yet today, Trump and his circle act as if none of this ever happened.
