@jonnorris12 @SniersMoregut Can confirm the same in South Manchester. We had a sparrowhawk in the garden a couple of weeks ago, that put the shat amongst the wazzo somewhat and we didn't see any parakeets or magpies for a few days after.

We don't have a walnut tree though, we ain't that posh.

Really deep leaves and really slippy now they are wet - very dangerous, an accident waiting to happen. Can't report online...
