I’ve truly cherished every moment of this co-op experience — the growth, the challenges, the mentors, and the friendships. So grateful for everything I’ve learned and everyone who made it unforgettable. #tap2026#edchat@PVHStap
This week was relatively calm in the classroom, but a pleasant moment was when my co-op asked me to work with students on fairytale outlines. It was great to demonstrate how to work in a way that suits you. #edchat#tap2026@PVHStap
I had a great day yesterday! The kids were finishing their Valentine’s party bags. One student rushed to get theirs done and asked if I could help. We snacked, colored, listened to a story, and chatted! #edchat#tap2026@PVHStap
Yesterday in the library, my students read a book about spiders and created their own book reviews. They were so excited and engaged! #edchat#tap2026@PVHStap
A student came to me the other day about a problem, and it was such a rewarding moment to support them with my mentor teacher. It also made me wonder, when do you go to the teacher first, and when is it time to involve the counselor? @PVHStap#edchat#tap2026
Yesterday there was a sub in my classroom, and the class wasn’t run the same way students are used to. It made me think, how can we help students navigate those small adjustments and still feel supported for the day? #tap2026#edchat@PVHStap
A great experience this week was helping a student through work they struggled with earlier in the day. Breaking it down and seeing it finally click was really rewarding.

Yesterday was quite an adventure. During stations, students got really rude at the game station. I paused the games and we talked as a group about playing and showing good sportsmanship. Always learning, was there another way I could’ve handled it? #tap2026#edchat@PVHStap
@PVHStap They had exploration that day for specials the student and I work on there Chromebook together, and I taught her how to use it! And through learning she felt more comfortable asking me any questions she had during instructional time.
Day 2 with my new student, who just transferred from an international school. I’m already learning new ways to communicate and connect! #tap2026#edchat@PVHStap
Today my class was taking a quiz, and one of the kids sits right next to me while taking it. It reminded me that I was once that kid. And to be that helping force in the background for that kid is amazing. #tap2026#edchat@PVHStap
@PVHStap I showed them a few strategies to help. Since some word problems had two steps, one method was to break them into smaller chunks and solve each part. Another was to draw the amounts, then add or cross out depending on what the problem asked. It helped them see the math clearly.
Students were working on a math review when two asked me for help with a word problem. Word problems were tough for me too, but I was excited to use my tools to help them understand.
