Do I ever want to exercise? No
Do I feel better if I exercise? Yes
I’ve learned to schedule it in and make it a habit. Habits over willpower. Showing up for myself.
Over 1000 Bootcamp sessions smashed!
@drjenunwin I say the same to my weight loss clients who find intermittent fasting works the best. Schedule the 2-3 days of a 24 hour fast and it’s done! I’ve always said willpower isn’t the problem. It’s bad habits.
We looked at all the cardiovascular risk factors in our low carb patients both at baseline and after being low carb for nearly three years GUESS WHAT ? THEY ALL IMPROVED !! Despite all that meat cream and butter!! Published here https://t.co/5jK4nl1Y2z @SBakerMD
@lowcarbGP@PHCukorg I prefer veggies as clever carb swaps but legumes are very helpful for vegans and vegetarians. They are also good for menopause symptoms. Thanks for the chart to add to my collection!
My opinion piece ‘advertising junk food wherever it occurs is an attack on the health of the nation. Based on a recent government report each British taxpayer pays £7,165 to mitigate the harms caused by our poor food environment’ @DoctorChrisVT https://t.co/2RjAM2HC9p
‘The NHS will never be able to cope unless we do something about demand by looking seriously at prevention.
I believe we have eaten our way into this pandemic of obesity, Type 2 diabetes and chronic ill health. It is urgent we do something to help people understand ‘we are what we eat’. @HenryDimbleby
Wow @UKLabour @wesstreeting 13categories of junk food you are about right 👍 Includes Breakfast cereal: muesli, porridge oats &other items you find in a supermarket breakfast isle Should these be fed to people with T2 diabetes in hospital?? https://t.co/OQZQWHsAmo
@Nanaakua1@GBNEWS Excellent thought provoking poll, @Nanaakua1
I think all sides need to move forward, forgive and let go ~ but it’s easier said than done.
@drjenunwin Bread, pastries and cakes are highly addictive yet so accepted in mainstream nutrition. It’s a shame bakeries don’t offer low carb options like cakes made with almond and coconut flours. What is your thought on companies like Seriously low carb and Heylo? A good alternative?
