This week we had our first FIRST robotics practice. Students were given their engineering journals to document their designs and ideas! Lower school students worked on planning and building their spaceship. Upper school students also worked to build their Mindstorms EV3 robot.
As a culminating activity to a fall unit, OLM Prep's lower school visited Scott’s Yankee Orchard in East Lyme. The students took a tour on a tractor pulled wagon to see the working farm and how things are grown in a orchard. Students enjoyed making and eating homemade applesauce!
On our Fun Friday, the lower school was treated to the puppet show "Halloween Tricks and Treats" by Roy Drew. Roy Drew is known for his unique combination of puppetry, storytelling and theatre. Thank you, Roy Drew, for a lovely afternoon of imagination and fun! #olmprep#puppets
OLM Prep students visited the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, CT to learn visit the Wee Faerie Village.
