Amazingly thoughtful work at the Australian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale by Creative Directors BarracoWright + Linda Tegg. I’m humbled to be part of the Creative Team and to have worked with them the past year. Amazing people, amazing experience.

A few hours ago Australia (theoretically) reached and passed a population of 27 million people...now back to work

What a pleasure to ride the light rail for the first time with one of its key architects: Danish urbanist Jan Gehl!
Big ideas change cities, and I am proud of the city Sydney has become through a bold vision, and careful, considered planning.

Today, I introduced my Voter Protections in Political Advertising Bill.
Voters of all persuasions overwhelmingly support political advertising being held to the same standards as commercial advertising.

If he says the Voice is a simple advisory body and she says it can veto government decisions and can take control of parliament, it is not your job to quote them both. It is your job to take a look at reality and tell your audience which is true (and that she is lying).
On paper, “Superblocks” are modest interventions; simple traffic filters that reclaim a fraction of the 60% of Barcelona’s land mass dedicated to the movement and storage of cars.
In reality, they are nothing short of a triumph; the results totally justifying the grandiose name.
The simple fact that over 80% of Aboriginal people support the Voice is not reported in News Corp coverage. It’s obvious why they leave this info out. It’s because they know well meaning, respectful Australians who hear this will absolutely vote Yes. Tell all your friends.
@Nicholas_Reece@CSL@cityofmelbourne@AlboMP Fantastic see! further establishing Melbourne as a global leader in the commercialisation of Biomedical research - and ensuring the future economic development of Victoria
@MatthewBoldist1 Love Newmarket as a 'minor' interchange on the way to the airport, with a Showgrounds station - much needed additional PT capacity in the fast growing Flem-Ken area
This is the start of a very timely series by @sopphie on a challenge that has eluded Melbourne planners and state governments for nearly 70 years; how and where to build a second city. https://t.co/5vufmF6quR
@Cycling_Embassy An issue Australian cities will need to tackle, with so many unprotected on-road bike routes 20km is likely to do more harm than good...what ever we do, we need to start talking now
Remember this picture every single time you hear someone in your city say "we're not Amsterdam."
This was #Amsterdam in the 1970s, via @fietsprofessor.
The cities we admire made better choices regarding cars, and are still making them today.
Better choices instead of excuses.
