I must have said this a billion times and I’d never stop saying it…at the end of the day, Cristiano Ronaldo is the one that brought all this nonsense upon himself, allowing players like Thierry Henry and Ibrahimovic that never got to his level talk about him the way they do.

That move out of Real Madrid is the greatest mistake he ever made as a footballer. He was on a crazy high then and allowed his pride get the best of him. Yes, he deserved to be treated better or maybe given a better contract, but leaving wasn’t the solution at all, he then went to a Juventus that had old players that couldn’t compete anymore, then they created a narrative that he ruined Juventus.

Even Lionel Messi said he was shocked Ronaldo left, it’s as if he gave Messi the platform to go ahead and be seen as the better player while he roams about looking for where to find consistency, but like Modric will always say, it’s downwards after Real Madrid.

Mind you, when he left, he and Messi was tied at 5 Ballon D’or each and if he stayed, that was the season he was gonna overtake Messi in the Ballon D’or ranking for the first time in over 8yrs, I’m sure he felt it was already a guarantee, but Papa Perez had other ideas. Perez did what every other president would, he had to fight for his own player to win it, Modric, since Cristiano was no longer a Real Madrid player, Modric was the one Perez was going to put in front.

Cristiano Ronaldo leaving was another reason Zinedine Zidane left, who knows how many more Champions Leagues and Ballon D’or he’d have won if he stayed & the story would be totally different today, but that one decision ruined what was left of his career.

Perfect story, perfect match, score the goals, we do every other work for you. Now the other clubs he went to kept saying his goals were hurting them, even Juve. Pathetic.

That is why I keep saying Vini fans that wants Vini to leave because they think he deserves a better contract does not like Vini, where does he want to go?

You watch United game when Ronaldo played with Bruno and you could see Bruno letting Ronaldo know “I’m the boss here”, I dictate things here”, this isn’t the national team. That first 2 goals Ronaldo scored in that first game started it all.

Bruno was like “this man is here again to steal my shine” need to chase him out. Several occasions he’ll insist on taking the FKs, fought Ronaldo for a PK and later missed it, clear one on goal and wouldn’t pass to Ronaldo. It’s sad that y’all aren’t seeing that the main issue here is that Bruno wants to be the main man by all means, the question, can he?

However,, there are "four statements" that are fallacies in the media space

• Cristiano Ronaldo is arrogant but Lionel Messi is humble
• Ronaldo chase records, Messi doesn't

• Ronaldo is hard work, Messi is talent

All these four, they are lies!!

Everything you said about Messi is good but it kinda paints Ronaldo as a selfish and a bad person

First, I don't believe all these Portugal players don't regard Ronaldo

I have followed football to a stage where I don't follow media noise

There is competition amongst team mates. You played football and you know this

An average European footballer has this perceived arrogant personality

Ask Zinedine Zidane, ask Thierry Henry, ask Arjen Robben, ask Eden Hazard, ask some of the great European players, etc

Second, before I judge someone, I sometimes check where they are from which are foundations to a lot of things

In 2007, Ronaldo was asked who the best player in the history of football is

He said;

"Cristiano Ronaldo"

He was 21 years and he hasn't even achieved anything

In 2012, when Ronaldo was asked about the Ballon d'Or

He said;

"in Portugal, we don't act like we don't want something. We say it out the way we feel it. I want to win the Ballon d'Or"

You have heard how Jose Mourinho speaks......

I think Nani once said he is as good as Ronaldo but Ronaldo was way more consistent. I can't remember how he put it again

These are the Portuguese ways of speaking and actions. They don't hide it and it doesn't make them arrogant

The Joao Neves interview, I didn't condemn him because of two things;

First, he is young and might not have meant it the way the media portrayed it

Second, it's the Portuguese way of speaking

All these Ronaldo is chasing records, he reacts or doesn't talk to anyone if he doesn't score doesn't make him arrogant or selfish

That's a personality trait and a way of dealing with disappointment

He overdoes it or he should have done better, but then, is there anyone 100% perfect in character

And it's not every game that he doesn't score that he won't talk to his teammates after the game

The Argentina team

You see the Argentine team that became successful

It's just because we don't give him his flowers. Lionel Scaloni was the reason why that team succeeded

Before now, Argentina was individualistic but when Scaloni came, the first thing he did was break that individualism structure

-Bruno or Trincao and Conceicao on the flank.
